Raised On Steam
Meanwhile back in Fenwick's in Newcastle today they'd reduced three Railroad A4's - two BR Mallards at £75 each and one garter blue Falcon for £70, if they're of interest to anyone. Also saw a black B1 in the reduced section but couldn't see the price on it.

leopardml2341
Cleefy, Just a thought - did you use the activation email link they send you to confirm that the 'sign up' is not being done by bulk scammer? I didn't receive mails until I'd done that. Hope that helps?

Ok then if you sign up as a new member on Top Cashback you'll get £7.50 cashback on an Amazon spend worth more than £7.50. If you happen to go down this route, I'd appreciate if you could use my referral code below: http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/sub39h Once you've signed up and logged in, go to the link topcashback.co.uk/amazon-promotions It's a brilliant site if you've not used it. RMweb Gold 30801 Posted December 19, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 19, 2014 Perhaps not for serious modellers but this Hornby Majestic set is discounted to £199 (£340 at hattons). http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hornby-Majestic-E-Link-Gauge-Electric/dp/B00BUKPXU6/ref=sr_1_5?s=toys&ie=UTF8&qid=1417946795&sr=1-5&keywords=Hornby Down to £249.99 today, which is still a good deal if you have any small relatives that need indoctrinating into the ways of Model Railways. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BUKPXU6/ref=pe_1579791_59760491_pe_epc__1p_6_ti
SGTBILKO
I bought the Hornby Gloucester City Pullman set from Amazon yesterday. Impulse buying, I know, but can't resist a bargain. £89.05 instead of £ 149.99, probably only worth that anyway. Will see if it is the case on Christmas day. RMweb Gold Budgie Posted December 19, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 19, 2014 Everything 99p +postage of course. I have no connection with this enterprise And postage is at least £2.95, so it's not everything 99p.

Much better to put the money towards track and rolling stock than a control system thats arrived 10 years too late...

NS Peak
Just cleared out my local IKEA of the following selling for £1.75 for just under a big tub nearly 1 1/2 lb in weight. Loads of colours and grades, but the black and grey in fine is perfect ballast. Sand and coal size loads as well. They were selling it in the flower section. Thanks for this, it made my being dragged around Ikea Delft yesterday worthwhile. Also they were euro 1.99 which is about 1.57 in proper money.
