Adams442T
You are still in time - it's been relisted! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-BR-7MT-BRITANNIA-CLASS-EMPTY-BOX-ONLY-/141755393285? Possibly, but I'd have thought it would have been a straight in-out procedure. What I can't understand is that there's someone 'watching' it. What do they think it's going to do, turn into a full box after 28 days!

RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted August 25, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 25, 2015 Failed to sell for £1,590 on the last 4 occasions. RMweb Gold Enterprisingwestern Posted August 25, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 25, 2015 Probably found in a garden shed and offered by some chancer with little knowledge of our hobby. But it wasn't offered by Gosturde though. Mike.
Ruffnut Thorston
This one made we look twice http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=361372922647&globalID=EBAY-GB Bachmann class 58? They've never made one, but the underside of the chassis in the photos suggests differently. Hold on a minute aren't those coupling rods? Photo of a Bachmann 08 thrown in! Neil I wonder which loco you get? The "description" is a little vague! Personally, I like the 08s! Looks like the "Hornby" tag for the 58 has been mixed in with the Bachmann 08 Listing! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-Bachmann-Model-Railway-Engine-Class-08-for-00-Gauge-/361372893743?hash=item542380c22f Edited August 25, 2015 by Sarahagain

SWMBO wants it sold, he doesn't. So pick a mutual agreed price, less than which not worth selling. So he gets to keep, while making the motions to sell.

Jub45565
I like the bit in the 08 add of: just needs a bit of oil as it runs a little slow I'm not quite sure where the oil needs applying to make it faster... I don't think oil affects the gear ratio

Bodmin Bob
Talking of sublime and ridiculous, shame I missed this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-BR-7MT-BRITANNIA-CLASS-EMPTY-BOX-ONLY-/131564196375?hash=item1ea1d65217 Totally agree - this brings 'box selling' to a new level The outside of the box is from a Hornby Black 5 - the poly inserts are for a Margate built Britannia and is therefore 2" longer than the outer box - the box has no end flaps - the picture insert is for a later Chinese version of the Britannia 'but can be cut down to fit in the box' - but at least it will hold a loco (as would an old shoe box!!) BG John
Somewhat optimistic? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Heljan-class-31-o-gauge-/111748980858?hash=item1a04c2207a "will be brilliant for any one modelling in o gauge". Not brilliant for me. In fact totally useless, as it would fill up the entire headshunt on my inglenook, leaving no room for any wagons!

railsquid
...and he can't spell Japanese either!!! "Japaneses" = missing apostrophe which fell down the page and is now gracing EXTRA DETAILED PHOTO'S , should be "Japanese's" indicating the possessive form of a Japanese person, who may or may not want it back (the motor, not the apostrophe). Looking forward to hearing the compliments from the box too...... It has good words to say about the mint inside. Replied: New message from: loveall888 (4,152) Hi, I realised my mistake but am unable to edit the title or the photos, I did however make a note underneath the description, most model experts know what the train is anyway. Thanks for your help, regards Barbie
cromptonnut
I was wondering what the prices were on Ebay for the Tam Valley "Frog Juicer" devices. This wasn't quite what I had in mind. railsquid
Missing words from the description: "from the estate of a deceased modeller". Is the seller name a call to action - "sue model railways"?
