EBay madness

It's just another case of lazy and sloppy presentation.

Surely if you want to 'market' your item you do your best to make it look saleable and write up an easy to read, accurate and 'non-shouty' description.

LOOOOK @@@@@-----NOOOOO YOU WRITE EVERYTHING IN CAPITALS AND PUT SILLY SYMBOLS IN THE LISTING! @@@@@

They'll never learn the basic principles of sales.

Importantly you don't annoy your potential customers with silly, amateur and childish script!

l always avoid "L@@K" and shouty script descriptions as I've never yet seen anything of quality or just plain good described in this way. They're usually cr*p anyway!

Why on earth would you want to pay £600 when DJH sell it for £470.

Because it's eBay, it MUST be cheaper than anywhere else..................................

For some items you might pay slightly more for the convenience of card payments, as quite a lot of suppliers don't take cards at all. Though not in the case of that DJH model, that is taking the whatsit a bit!

Regularly see Cambrian kits pop up, for more than they sell them on their own site too.

like I've said before, looking at his feedback the vast majority of his customers disagree with you.

Their choice, not yours, so why worry?

Because not only are they being asked to pay over the odds for stuff that others would give away (to the dustman), the descriptions are somewhat wayward- something can't be Scratchbuild and converted from RTR when its as basic as that model...

Then that's for the buyer to report to eBay.

The fact that his feedback is overwhelming positive tends to suggest customers are happy with their transaction.

That's down to them.

I've never bought anything from the guy, so no issues there?

Have any of you whining about him reported him to eBay?

If not, why not?
