“LAWRENCE SCALE MODELS & LARRY GODDARD ?”

Either they were built by Larry or they weren't. As I understand it they were always signed and numbered as has been shown by other reputable sellers on Ebay. One just has to shake one's head at these debatable descriptions.

Here's what the undersides look like:

I would question whether a broken Lima 09 is either worth 40 quid or in "good used condition".

Not only is it missing a few parts, why is it a dock shunter??

Clearly someone hasn't done any research, a quick Google of Lima 09 and you can see that it is missing it's rods!!

They have even got a Blue one with connecting rods so you think they would mention they are missing on the grey one

Why do we all expect anything other than descriptive bullokks from GosTURDe.

Just do as I do.

Do not touch any of his overpriced goods.

That's my advice.

It's up to you!!!!

Here we go again.....yet another one from this lot....hardly as described....bordering on mis-description...but 'caveat emptor' and all that.....

They seem to have got a large 'buy in' of some pretty overpriced mediocre/c***.

"BUILT AND FINISHED TO A GOOD STANDARD"

....my ****. looks like it's been dropped or just badly built.

I'd hate to see one they would describe as badly built!

Maybe they're comparing it to the standard of their own efforts...

e

Interesting that he has two of these altered locos, this one with a copper "chimney" and a second one with it in brass. The brass version is over £5 cheaper!

Let's not be pedantic, it is Gostude after all....   :jester:

According to the seller "both look OK"

Then "Using library photo"

Does not inspire confidence:

Granted it seems dubious, but I have bought items from this seller several times and have no complaints at all. These did start at only 99p and even £3.20 is not expensive for a pair of Dublo Duchess blinkers.
