Why blimey  :scratchhead:

That is about the right price if got from Markits as they are £6.74 for 16, and trying to count them there could be nearer 60 so not over priced.

£5 per 16 from Blacksmith Models.

Cheers,

Mick

And point  3. The item is not available at any retail outlet and the container has a value that substantially exceeds the current retail price of the alcohol in the container.

So it's the bottle that's valuable ?  Judging by the colour, someone is taking the p*** or that cow is very sick indeed......

It's the bottle that's collectable (complete with contents). Personally, I drink the contents and throw away (recycle) the bottle.....

When will these half-wits learn that 'shouty' script is hard to read easily and it certainly puts me off bothering. (and I'm sure others as well)

It's a particular shame in this case, as I've had a wagon off him before, and, though expensive, he'd actually done a very nice job!

(No connection other than a satisfied customer, and I'm not defending the listings, which hardly scream 'professionalism', just thought I'd mention it!)

Right Ok

Bachmann Class 57 "Lady P" just gone for  £137.00 plus Postage :O

Renumber and name project put on hold.....

At least until Bachmann do another run.....please !

I happened to be browsing through eBay last night and saw this. The reason I never bought one of these a couple of years ago was because I wanted 'one of the boys' - the pink nameplates just didn't appeal to me. I remember certain model shops practically giving these away too - don't think they were more than about £45 (even less in places). That is true madness!

Also, apparently this is 'near mint':

More professional weathering.  I just can't seem to get these details right myself.  I always seem to end up with cement wagons being mainly white with a few oily/muddy bits.

More broken junk shop cr*p.  See all the other rubbish that they're selling.

I think that this one is up there for taking the p***.... even from him.

Well, quite aside from why a demic loco would still have a smokebox numberplate, pipework and handrails... £155 for a dummy Brit?! Come on... £30ish for an out of the box non-runner, fiver on some paint, recoup 50p flogging off the smoke deflectors?

This ain't bad:-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AIRFIX-No-54204-LMS-STANIER-57-3rd-Class-CORRIDOR-BRAKE-/260966719593?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item3cc2d42069

after all you could get 2 brand new ones from here:-

http://Dapol.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=177_60_87_159&product_id=456

and still have change...............

No connection with either vendor - just amazed at some people's expectations.

Or is it because one is more 'collectable' ?

Yes there's one or two sellers who think these are a good deal but really the buyers should be on that new CH4 programme. 'One born every minute'

And the condition report is:

Condition:
New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item. See the seller's listing for full details.

Even though it is definitely damaged, deliberately, and is not even supplied in the original box, was that for sale separately?
