lightengine
I walked for miles past this sign and my mobile worked ok. Even down in deepest Devon, fire still works all year round.
lightengine
Is this situated near the Palace of Westminster? If your local is shut and you are desperate. I saw this outside the newsagents in the summer. I thought that the placement of the 2 unrelated news items was quite funny. lightengine
One for the French speakers amongst you who may pick up on this play on words/double entendre. One of my favourites is that the French like our road sign 'Soft verges'. Maybe the word like is not the right choice!

RMweb Premium newbryford Posted November 3, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 3, 2013 Yesterday, I was quite involved with our local community bonfire. I had chance to phograph the fire before it was lit. One of the build team has a sense of humour.... This was fixed above one of the lighting access routes. lightengine
Saw this in Singapore and did a double take before it really registered. It would never happen here! IMG_2279 (800x533).jpg This photo taken at Havanna airport shows the luggage wrapping machine on the concourse. Fairly un pc here. Incidentalto this, I was talking with a Cuban artist who was of mixed race and his use of the 'N' word regarding races showed that such un-pcness does not exist in Cuba.

St. Simon
An award I received (or didn't because I couldn't get up), along with another worthy winner at my old schools Excellence Evening, it's one of the biggest awards you can receive in the school, I was rather chuffed as I never expected it!
