I'm not a fan of Obama but Trump didn't make any difference in the amount of jobs that returned to the USA from China. He has just made the wealthy wealthier by giving huge tax breaks to them. He currently congratulates himself for the biggest gain in the US economy this year by conveniently fogetting the biggest slump in the US economy due to his inability to have any kind of plan to deal with Covid 19. He also seems unaffected by the amount of Americans that have died as a result of this, but then he thinks they are 'losers' Obama did send some US military to overseas as he understood that the worlds most powerful military has to play a part in policing the world (a part, not all) but the previous GOP president went to war with half the world in pursuit of Al-quaida and Obama inherited that situation which is conveniently ignored. Obama didn't make friendship deals with China, he understood that the way to influence was to be closer rather than walk away and shut the door. Since Trump has been in power the Chinese have become even more authoritarian as they now see the USA more as a threat than a friend .Also with Trump walking away from the Asia/Pacific area China has begun to flex its muscle which it didn't dare do before. China may well decide to take back Taiwan (which it doesn't recognise) so who will stop it ? As for 'Biden is in Chinas pocket'. To make a statement such as that you need to provide some evidence rather than repeat the mantra of someone so corrupt and narcissistic that he refuses to accept that the people don't want him. he's clinging to power in the way that a despot does and is damaging the democratic process of the USA. His legacy will be that of division and civil unrest but I doubt he will care so long as his fans wear his MAGA caps. His own former lawyer has said that without the protection of the Presidential office he will be in prison within a couple of years. Although he is more likely to throw one of his children under the bus to avoid that. My father lived and worked in the USA for 15 years, he loved it and said that it was the land of opportunity, but only if you were white and preferably what we'd call middle class. US politics is completely different from what we experience. Currently the word for Republicans seems to be 'Socialism' which they see as a threat to 'The American way' sadly they don't see the diffence between that and 'social' policies such as universal health care. He may well be immune [or not?] however, an immune system is not instantaneous, He may have collected sufficient quantity for him to carry it and deliver it on, to other persons, before his immune system has dealt with them.
