That's a Hornby 47 (and signal) isn't it?  They scrub up amazingly well for what it nearly a 50 year old moulding.

So nice to have some sunshine!

Those Pythons that must have escaped from the Everglades are very realistic

I remember reading in a Garden Rail (the US one) about someone who discovered a small snake wrapped around the chassis of his G1 loco stopping it from running...

Robert,

What brilliant water, the waves are very convincing, please tell how you did it?

Steve

Hello Steve,

The water was 2 part clear resin with a bit of blue and brown dye added.

After it had fully cured, I then added the ripples by brushing gloss Modpodge and blowing on top to form the ripples through a straw.

No trains but this is right adjacent to the station.

Superb. Who needs trains in a picture showing this quality of modelling?

For your first post, above, I was going to say "nah rubbish - I can't see the menu" but thought better of trying that joke.

..but I'm now glad I didn't because I can see that there was a printed menu!

Outstanding.

Kev.

@steve fay Wow. I don't think I've ever seen Bullhead track on concrete blocks with tie bars modelled before. I've only ever seen them once in my railway career on BR lines. Superb modelling.

Not uncommon for sidings, loops, &c on the WR, and frequently wartime replacement for wooden sleepers destroyed by the Luftwaffe’s incendiaries.  I built some once, back in the 80s, using plastic moulded chairs, forget now whe made them, and a home-made Milliput mould for the concrete block ‘sleepers’.  The cross-bracing bars were straightened-out Rexel no.13 staples.
