tractor_37260
just trying to keep the code 100 out of shot. "Stunning" is perhaps the best word to describe this photo ! Initially I could not decide if it was "real" or a model - think that says it all - job done More photos please Regards Ken

Baby Deltic
Don't you think that looks a bit green, Lloyd? How's that? Better, Iain. The veg needs to be on the receiving end of my airbrush. It needs toning down a tad.
elfinpunk
A little night time shot, class 108 DTS, basic scenery at the moment but as it's nice and dark it's hard to see. Reminds me of my spotting days at Bristol Temple Meads (although not so much the NSE livery obviously).

great central
Had Mike Wild from Hornby mag taking some pictures today for a future article, took a few myself as well. I rather like this one in particular, unedited, I did think about cropping the road way a bit but then decided to leave it to give a better impression of depth.

RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted August 14, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 14, 2010 One of my recently weathered Presflos on Dave Spencers Penrhos layout. I really like these - but please tell me, did it start out life as a grey one, which has had a lot of rust added, or a bauxite one, which has had some cement grey added? Adam
I really like these - but please tell me, did it start out life as a grey one, which has had a lot of rust added, or a bauxite one, which has had some cement grey added? Standard Bachmann finish weathered Tim - I have one of these myself. Adam
Chubber
I can't do trains, [or stations like the ones shown above...] but are little buildings allowed? I still think Pugley's 08 on page ! takes some beating........ Doug

As Adam said they are bauxite with the grey added, I was quite surprised when I researched for photos to work from, the Bauxite ones on Paul Bartletts site were remarkable clean so I didn't go too mad. My previous airfix ones are APCM grey and all the pics of those were very dirty.
RMweb Premium Claude_Dreyfus Posted August 15, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 15, 2010 Although I would love to take the credit for these buildings, sadly I cannot. These are heavily modified Kestrel kits, and are the work of one of our club members. The attention to deal is quite exquisite, and all the more impressive bearing in mind his main area of interest is H0... Unfortunately, the pink background ain't too good... I really need to do something to show these off better...
