A Nod To Brent - a friendly thread, filled with frivolity, cream teas and pasties. Longing for the happy days in the South Hams 1947.

That's a great shame, but surely 7200 would be a more than able deputy, and I don't think we've seen 7200 interacting with the new backscene yet?

Is that another photo request for 7200.A correctly formed Plymouth bound oil train would look nice.

In the meantime......

I'd love to know what Celia Smedley finds so interesting down on the beach when there's Western motive power whistling past her ears.

She's carrying out a visual inspection of the new works on the Seawall section in her role as Vice Chair Person of the ANTB Beach and Seawall Amenities Improvement Scheme (1947) Sub Committee.

She is increasingly worried that Mr Bazalgette has exceeded his remit and that his new over engineered Seawall sewerage outfall will not be in keeping with ANTB'S AONB status.

Edit: AONB was originally ANOB - so that Rob's jest still makes sense

Went all sluggish followed by a whiff of smoke from the tender area.

That frequently happens to me. Normally after several pints of real ale.

Should I ask what ANOB stands for...... :read:

Maybe it's the guy who rewired 3864 for me.

Yes, that'll be it - or it could be me. I really should steer clear of acronyms as I seem to be prone to re-arranging the letters. I think I've even got ANTB wrong before now. :senile:

You change your avatar photo more often than I change my underwear Mallard.

Quite. On a personal level, no sooner have I popped on the weeks fresh pair of Thrapptons 'Old dirigibles' (Heavy Duty gusset ) than I find Ducky has a new face.
