RMweb Gold 4630 Posted March 12, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 12, 2022 (edited) On 12th March 2022 Direct Rail Services 37218 double-headed with 37425 ‘Sir Robert McAlpine/Concrete Bob’ approach Marsden, heading west away from Huddersfield along the Colne Valley, with Pathfinder Tours ‘The Pennine Wayfarer’ rail tour. The rail tour originated at Bristol Temple Meads (06:19) with Bolton (15:32) as its destination. By this point the rail tour had circumnavigated West Yorkshire along the Calder Valley via Hebden Bridge and the Huddersfield line from Bradley Junction and was now heading back towards Manchester to reach its destination. The pair were booked to work later from York to Lincoln, on a rail tour that originated at Edinburgh.
