The wooden planked one in your last shot? That's an OBA Bass wagon, use interchangeably with the other types of Bass, OAA and OCA. Not long left for them as new bogie wagons to replace them are on order. Jo 1 4

RMweb Gold 4630 Posted March 15, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 15, 2022 (edited) With its bodyside showing a pronounced crease where presumably it's received some unintended alterations, DB Cargo 66076 approaches Deighton, east of Huddersfield, on 15th March 2022 with 6E26, Knowsley Freight Terminal to Wilton EFW Terminal. Unusually, for this week 6E26 is working to a VAR schedule through the Standedge Tunnel and along the Huddersfield line, rather than its regular routing along the Calder Valley line. Iron Horse
I was pretty pleased to stumble across this yesterday morning. It's booked to run past the house at around 5 in the morning and in fact is often early, now I'm not really a morning person but when it's running an hour and a half late, checked at the previous signal before the hill and the sun is rising.......priceless

Steadfast
Some recent 66s from my Flickr. Click to view them bigger! Pinky and err, perky? by Steadfast Fotography, on Flickr Freightliner's pink 66587 'As One, We Can' sits on the Down Reception at Westbury having arrived with 20 Falcon and 20 Coalfish from Didcot East Junction as 6Y17. 66725 and 66798 are stabled to the right, having arrived earlier in the morning. 66136 6Z72 Dr Day's, Bristol by Steadfast Fotography, on Flickr Seen at Dr Days Junction, 66136 has dropped down Filton Bank with the inaugural working from Llanwern to Portbury, running as 6Z72 and carrying steel slab. Looking at an online shipping website, the steel looks like it could be bound for the Netherlands. I was bit disappointed when I heard the train was formed of BYAs, thinking that it'd be nice to be able to see the commodity, particularly as it's a new service. Lo and behold, 9 of the recently converted BYAs that have lost their hoods were at the front of the train, with 13 BAAs at the rear. Multi operator railway by Steadfast Fotography, on Flickr DB's 66127 has just squealed to a stop on the Down Reception at Westbury with 6Z21 from Cricklewood. Mendip Rail have a set of Freightliner MWA boxes on hire, and this week Whatley were using them for this service, hence the different wagons to usual. 66127 will come off the train here, before the empties go forward to Whatley as 6C40, tonight being handled by 66616. GBRF 66781 (ex DB 66016) sits in the yard with 66764. 66781 6Z77 World's End Lane (Clay Overbridge) by Steadfast Fotography, on Flickr An unexpected additional working, GBRf's 66781 leads 6Z77 Llanwern - Marchwood MoD past World's End Lane, near Saltford, moving Ermewa owned IHA wagons, believed to be heading for maintenance at Marchwood. Note the lack of hood on the first wagon! Jo

RMweb Gold big jim Posted April 7, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 7, 2022 Already mentioned 2 posts above personally I’m not keen, would have preferred a wavy flag on the side (like the cab sides) or the flag colours continuing the full length of the body, something just doesn’t look quite right where it switches to GBRf blue. RMweb Gold 4630 Posted April 7, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 7, 2022 (edited) A few from a visit to Doncaster on 1st March 2022 which I've held off posting until now. DB Cargo 66075 sneaks passed with 6D65, Scunthorpe Roxby Gullet to Rossington Colliery. DB Cargo 66087 passing light locomotive as 0D08, from Wakefield Europort to Doncaster Belmont Down Yard. DRS 66431 taking the route via platform 1 with 6D73, Redcar Mineral Terminal to Doncaster Decoy Up Yard. Freightliner 66505, also routed via platform 1, heads north with 6E50, Ipswich to Lindsey Oil Refinery. Freightliner 66536 double-headed with 66559 pass heading north with 4E23, Felixstowe North Freightliner Terminal to Leeds Freightliner Terminal. Freightliner 66593 '3MG MERSEY MULTIMODAL GATEWAY' passing platform 3 heading south with a healthy load of boxes on 4L87, Leeds Freightliner Terminal to Felixstowe North Freightliner Terminal. GBRf 66783 'The Flying Dustman' heads along the Two Way Goods line with empty coal hoppers working as 4E57, Ratcliffe Power Station to Immingham Humber International Terminal. GBRf 66790 uses the Two Way Goods line with 6Z77, Arcow Quarry to Doncaster Decoy Down Yard, loaded aggregate wagons. RMweb Gold 4630 Posted April 10, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 10, 2022 Out for a day trip, GBRf 66796 'The Green Progressor' approaching Heaton Lodge East Junction light locomotive with 0E10, Tuebrook Sidings to Wakefield Kirkgate. As the 66 retraced the route back to Tuebrook Sidings from Wakefield Kirkgate a short time later, I presume the schedules were for driver training/route refreshing purposes. So now working as 0M51 heading back west passing Deighton.
