I can't believe these are going for scrapping, a real change on the Mendip services is occurring. The AI ex Yeoman O&K hoppers are a few years older, so I'm surprised the LTFs are going first, but the O&Ks can't be far behind I fear? RMweb Gold phil_sutters Posted March 2, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 2, 2023 Initially spotted from a bus, but awkwardly placed for photography, with the sun behind it as well and no time to wait for it to move up to within a better shooting distance. Toolstation, B&Q and Lidl's had to take priority.
RMweb Gold phil_sutters Posted March 3, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 3, 2023 (edited) I can't remember if I have uploaded these to this thread before. If I have and they didn't get swallowed in the sinkhole, I apologize. I used to travel to Hastings on Fridays quite frequently about ten years ago and often seemed to catch transfers in and out of St. Leonard's Engineering. There were many more 73s, but quite a few 66s turned up. Both came down the line from Tonbridge and reversed at Hastings.
