the penguin of doom
Saw this livery on a new 68 at Norwich and it's quite interesting. The big central graphic would work on a vehicle with an obvious front and back, but to my eye doesnt work on a diesel because it's too "directional". Arty farty mode off. 68????? Have I missed something.....?

RMweb Gold 4630 Posted October 5, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 5, 2014 47790 and 47828 on the Northern Belle 5 October 2014 at Midland road And a little earlier in the day 47828 crosses Bradley Junction with 5Z88, 10:01 Crewe CS to Leeds. With 47790 bringing up the rear. I think the Northern Belle livery really suits the coaching stock and the 47.

I love the photos btw Yes, I agree it would be better if 'Northern Belle' was central on the side of the loco, although they might need to reposition the nameplate then as well.
