For anyone building a layout that needs a lighting solution, this might be useful. Found it on Amazon (no link other than as a customer)

Thanks, just ordered a strip.  Not many left, hardly surprising at that price!

How do you wire them up?

 

(Apologies off hijacking the thread)

Just 2 wires connected to a 12v DC supply.

 

Here's one I use on my Dutch layout:

I notice the ones here are 24v

I am presuming one can get different voltages, but how long a strip can one reasonably use with 12 volts, or is my complete and utter bewilderment regarding things electrical, blinding me to the obvious?

Trying my hardest to get back on topic

 

We have booked a hotel just off the M1 for the Friday night as we can't make Rugeley in time for a few bedtime drinks.

 

Some new rolling stock will be running on Santa Barbara at the show.
