Lovely inspiring work as usual Mikkel. I wonder if the pantechnicon was ever transported by rail as it would make a great wagon load.

The late great Allan Downes was an advocate of the polyfilla method albeit on the thicker Wills sheets

Giving this a craftsmanship tick really isn’t enough for this stunning modelling, bravo Sir.

@gwrrob sure this looks great! But it's not a locomotive with a raised footplate> ? 😀
Thanks, if you haven't already got it I highly recommend the book by Ian Sixsmith The 2-8-2 Tank Papers which covers 7200-53.

gwrrob's one has a raised footplate. R3127 is the Hornby number I believe.
They do scrub up well with a bit of work. 7220 has had the Brassmaster's etch applied to the rear of the cab above the coal space.

I remember seeing those Invacar parked around the pitch at Highfield Road in the ‘70s.

Can't beat a tidy one as opposed to a filthy one..
A Mogul that is!
A filthy one proved to be well loved on ANTB.

Hello Mark, I was wondering if you knew the name of the Citadel paint you used for the Crimson? I am looking at doing a Fruit D as well and the look/finish you have is great.
Thanks
CorbsRailmatch also do their crimson in acrylic @Corbs

Lovely work James and a really nice sentiment to her late Majesty The Queen.

I don't think the GWR made many of the H diagram and would therefore be a rare beast to see. So unless Accurascale announce one it's a no Mark.🤣 As for the bogies, I've used them [Dean type] on Hornby clerestories and can highly recommend them.

Nice work as usual Mark. What livery are you going to do the siphon in ?

Beautiful work Mark. Although currently out of stock , Brassmasters do some etched GWR cab seats, E6, for those who want to add them here.

Have you the link to the Modelmaster transfers you used here please Mark. Asking for a friend.

I don't think that I have seen any of the oil fired locos modelled before, makes a nice change.
Are you sure about that @Siberian Snooper

Very nice too Mick but for someone who's not a fan of the Western you seem to do quite a few of their locos.

I was actually asking about the ex SR ballast wagon (ling) transfers.

You've made a superb job of that ballast wagon Tim. Can I ask your source of transfers for it please.

Having a look a getting a few of these to put behind the newly released MR 16xx but not sure which Dave Franks buffers are suitable replacements.
Western National-Tavy style. EFE Bristol LS detailing.

Lovely work as usual Mark, you need to give me the heads up on getting one for a tenner.😉
