Feeling soooo much better these days, it's amazing what a change of medication can do, doctors don't always know what's right....

People spending their Christmas monies on bufferstops this morning. Scottish ones top of the list....

Just had a tunny bar to finish lunch, yum.
-
Just had a phone call asking if I was a democrate please press 1, if I was a republican please press 2 and if 'other' please press 3. At that point I pressed 'end call'..... And for their info I'm in the UK!!!

Visited Father-in-law in emergency admissions yesterday and ended up in a bed beside him when I took no-well. Mother-in-law in a different hospital. Fiona's youngest pet Cockatiel in the animal hospital last night. NOT a good start to 2013

Thanks people, Father-in-law okay, he has a slight allergy to one of his drugs and occasionally he can't breath, a bit like a nut allergy but frightening for those around. Mother-in-law's illness responding to treatment. Me? I don't know, just collapsed right in front of the admissions desk (where else?). All sorts of tests but nothing conclusive. Very early morning, no breakfast, none of my meds. Could be the reason. Feel okay now.

First flakes of snow coming down in Glasgow, not lying yet though. Sun shining between the clouds, Oh how I love the warm West of Scotland
-
No snow here in Glasgow, in fact I've just hung a washing out, 3 degrees means it won't dry much though...
-
Yep, but what I should've mentioned was the beautiful sunshine today meaning it's warmed up from this morning's 1 degree and in any case the tumble dryer will melt the freeze....
Hey! I'm beginning to sound like a domestic god. The down side of working from home is having to do the washing and stuff whilst SWMBO goes off to her well paid office job.
-
It's just sunk in.... We signed up for a new fitted kitchen last night, ah well, be hanging onto the Jetta for another year maybe two.
-
Perhaps the world has ended and we're all in the twilight zone....
-
Have I been a bit premature? Just ordered 500 quids worth of casting metal for buffers, I'll let you know later.

Just heard, A friend of mine has died during an operation, was speaking to him last week and making arrangements to see him this week. Very sad.

Painted six Parkside wagons tonight, first bit of proper modelling I've done in ages, most satisfying. It does mean I'll have to number them sometime....

Been getting ready to collect the new Landie chassis, now told it isn't ready yet, will need to take trailer back....
