      Debs.

'Democrat' and 'Republican' mean VERY different things to folks here in the Britain and NI than in the U.S....I don`t think our political candiates/parties are permitted to indulge in such 'cold calling'.

      davefrk

Thanks people, Father-in-law okay, he has a slight allergy to one of his drugs and occasionally he can't breath, a bit like a nut allergy but frightening for those around. Mother-in-law's illness responding to treatment. Me? I don't know, just collapsed right in front of the admissions desk (where else?). All sorts of tests but nothing conclusive. Very early morning, no breakfast, none of my meds. Could be the reason. Feel okay now.

  15. First flakes of snow coming down in Glasgow, not lying yet though. Sun shining between the clouds, Oh how I love the warm West of Scotland

  16. No snow here in Glasgow, in fact I've just hung a washing out, 3 degrees means it won't dry much though...

    1. Jim49

      Jim49

But if it freezes, you won't need to iron it.

    2. davefrk

      davefrk

Yep, but what I should've mentioned was the beautiful sunshine today meaning it's warmed up from this morning's 1 degree and in any case the tumble dryer will melt the freeze....

Hey! I'm beginning to sound like a domestic god. The down side of working from home is having to do the washing and stuff whilst SWMBO goes off to her well paid office job.
