    Have had a look on the thread and can’t see that anyone has swapped the plated headcode box doors from 37027 on to 37001, so I might have to try that myself tonight! No particular reason other than the fact plated banger blue split box 37s is how I remember them. Did any plates ones still have their skirts for a while or was the plating done when the skirts came off?

    Did you not hear the term being used by bashers? It was daily parlance on the platforms, eg “hoping something big and NB drops on ‘E67”.

    Im not quite sure how but my two unrefurbed 37s behave slightly differently, which is hellfire as they sound like the real things, ie not perfectly in sync.

    The great thing about having a portable security camera with audio in my railway room in the garden is that I can leave locos running in for an hour and check on them without leaving the comfort of my sofa! Even sounds great through CCTV too!

    I know this is a ludicrous question to ask, but I’m struggling to see another reason as to the situation……. Probably the most inflated cost in the Bachmann second hand market is blue and grey MK2F TSOs. £120+ per coach is not uncommon for sold items on eBay, yet there has not been a rerun of these since the first production run which is years ago now. Surely there aren’t licensing issues or anything like that? I can’t see why Bachmann wouldn’t do another run of their most popular coach!

    It does crack me up that people think that these long awaited locos would have arrived and nobody bothers to mention it or post a photo of one………!

    Sheesh, that “I was led to believe……clearly is not the case” post gave me flashbacks to when I used to work in customer services and I had to bite my lip when faced with such unnecessary rudeness. Luckily these days I’m the boss and have no such restrictions placed on my interactions with the public!

    The price point to me is average for hyper detailed coaches these days. It’s not anything special or unusual in that sense.

    I’ve not understood Accurascale’s decision to focus their attentions elsewhere, the class 66 announcement over a 40 was simply bizarre. When I was a basher in the 80s the accepted holy trinity in terms of popularity were 55s, 52s, and 40s. Hopefully accurascale rectify this omission imminently! Im on the project team for the CFPS for the KR model and I too await with a mixture of excitement and trepidation! We have fed back on certain key aspects of differences between class members, we too want an accurate model.
