Hello Phil At the moment, I think they are looking at poles as opposed to polls.🙂 Brian -
The next Accurascale steam loco in OO ???

Hello Michael This was listed in The Quirky Poll 2021 - but ended up at the overall bottom position.🙂 Brian (on behalf of The Quirky Poll Team) -
Hello everyone This Lancaster was over my house and away before I could get outside for a good shot! However, I did get some footage - from which below is a screen grab - as she circled over north Milton Keynes this afternoon. Brian

BMacdermott replied to Accurascale Fran's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
Hello everyone Just placed my order for four packs (1x Diag.1/108 and 3 x Diag.1/109). 👍 These will be 'empties' on my layout. Brian -
BR 16t Minerals, By Accurascale
BMacdermott replied to Accurascale Fran's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
Hello everyone Many congratulations to Accurascale on this comprehensive venture!👍We wish them every success with the project. Within The 00 Wishlist Poll 2022 (and earlier) we didn't list the Diag.1/108 as that had been produced in (comparatively) recent years but we did list the Diag.1/109. It has been in the upper echelons of Middle Polling coming in above the overall halfway mark in 2022. Brian (on behalf of The 00 Poll Team) -
Hello Tony Very much agree there! The J6 hovered in the upper echelons of Middle Polling for many years but went into High Polling in 2019 and then the Top 50 in 2022. It was actually in position =37 overall. The Poll didn't run in 2017, 2020 or 2021. The next Poll to run will be December 2024. Brian (on behalf of The 00 Poll Team)

Hello everyone I am repeating here my post of 10 August from another thread which was posted prior to this 'official' announcement. Many congratulations to Rapido on this announcement and we wish them every success with the project.👍 The loco has been in The Top 50 of The 00 Wishlist Poll since 2014. Here's how it has fared in more detail (but note that The Poll didn't run in 2017, 2020 or 2021)... 2014 - 40th 2015 - 30th 2016 - 6th 2018 - 3rd 2019 - Top overall 2022 - 4th Brian (on behalf of The 00 Poll Team)

Many congratulations to Rapido on this announcement.👍 The Lowmac (as a broad description) has been creeping up the ranks of The 00 Wishlist Poll recently and was High Polling in 2022. We wish Rapido every success with the project. Brian (on behalf of The 00 Poll Team)

Hello Tony I can't specifically answer your question, but the B16/1 was in The Top 50 of The 00 Wishlist Poll 2022, with the B16/2 and B16/3 in High Polling. All three have consistently climbed up - slowly - since 2016, with the B16/1 always being higher than B16/2 and B16/3 (which we generally list as 'combined'). Brian (on behalf of Th 00 Poll Team)

Hello everyone Talk of Bristol Airport has just brought back a memory of a time I was there observing planes when a Dreamliner was (I think) being tested.... The plane landed, exited the runway and was taxiing very slowly towards the terminal. As this was a busy summer's day, the Tower was keen for him speed up a little. I forget the exact words but it was something like: (Callsign), do you have a second gear on that aircraft by any chance? Brian

The next Accurascale steam loco in OO ???
BMacdermott replied to Covkid's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
Hello Phil The aim of The Poll is to enable modellers and collectors to let the makers know which models they would realistically buy if made at some point in the future. The Poll only attracts a small number of overall potential voters compared to how many actually buy models. All we can hope - as we have no actual evidence - is that The Poll ratings concur with what makers are hearing on social media and in person at shows etc. We won't ask them and they won't tell us as that is 'commercially sensitive' information to them. Since publication of the 2022 Results, we have seen announced: 4 - Top 50 4 - High Polling 9 - Middle Polling (five of which are above the half way mark) 1 - Low Polling So, bearing in mind that The Poll could list 30,000+ items, it seems to be in the right area. Hello Chuffer Davies Dapol are bringing out Mainline & City Stock 'Toplight' coaches and have loosely noted that they will progress into corridor stock. That 'range' will no doubt be 'selectively compressed' as there were so many diagrams and many changes over the years. However, with careful planning, it should be possible to supply most modeller needs. Brian

Hello Glenn I can understand why Bachmann has made the Bulleid Diag.2019 Corridor Third (Second later) but it has to be said that there were only five of them, whereas we still await the (arguably) essential Diag.2406 Corridor Brake Composite, of which there were 40 examples. Hornby has made a Maunsell Restaurant Composite Open (RCO) but not the 'prototypically required' pairing of the Diag.2659 Kitchen Buffet Car. I wonder how many unsuspecting modellers have been lulled into running the RCO with the existing Restaurant First (RF)? The Bulleid Tavern Cars are now Top 50 in The Poll. Tony has already mentioned the Hornby Gresley Buffet Car. That was accompanied in 2004 by the BCK, FK, TK and Sleeper First - look at all that First Class! The Gresley 61ft 6in General Service Stock is High Polling but we do include all the relevant diagrams there! The Triplet Articulated Restaurant Set is only a handful of votes behind. Brian Brian

Hello Tony & everyone Firstly, an apology to anyone who may have seen my earlier post on this subject where I messed up the location of the PDF and had to delete the post! I have attached Results Extracts from The 00 Wishlist Poll 2022 for PCCS and NPCCS which we believe show up the major gaps for RTR. Ellis Clark Trains has since announced correct 8-car GN Quad Art sets and Dapol has announced a 59ft 6in GWR Autocoach. Presumably, that is a Brush Type 2 you are using.🙂 Brian -
Hello again Tony and everyone Looking at notes in The 00 Wishlist Poll Guide 2019, I see that we wrote that one was observed at Worcester Shrub Hill in May 1962 and another at Plymouth in 1963. I have seen the photo of the latter...but can't recall where at present! Brian

Hello Tony Note to all: Please note that I have attached below a photo from a book. I was often in touch with the photographer, the late Terry Gough, and I am sure he would be happy for it to be shown here - but please respect the copyright. An interesting photo! Brian

Revolution Trains offers IHA-F Sfhimms wagons in 00 and N
BMacdermott replied to Revolution Ben's topic in Revolution Trains
Hello everyone Congratulations to Ben and the team on this announcement. We wish them every success with the project. Although the vehicle was Low Polling in The 00 Wishlist Poll 2022, it has to be said that most 'modern era air-braked' freight stock shares that position - we can't offer any 'evidence' as to why, but it has always been that way. Crucially - it hasn't stopped makers making plenty of vehicles.🙂 Brian (on behalf of The 00 Poll Team) -
Hello Combe Martin Diag.O57 doesn't have sloping tank but does have ladder and filler one end. Brian
-
Hello everyone Congratulations to Bachmann on the announcement of the 3 CEP. Within The 00 Wishlist Poll 2022, we listed: Class 411 3 CEP & 4 CEP Refurbished and that came in Middle Polling. I have made a note on the 2024 Draft to discuss what we list for Class 411 that year. Brian (on behalf of The 00 Poll Team)

Hello everyone Many congratulations to Graham 'Muzz' and EFE on the announcement of the LSWR Vans. We listed both the Low and High Roof types separately in The 00 Wishlist Poll 2022 for the first time. They both came in towards the top end of the Middle Polling segment with only one vote between them. Those votes placed them in the top half of The Poll overall. We wish Graham every success with the project and look forward to seeing more vans from the tooling suite in the future. Brian (on behalf of The 00 Poll Team)
