  2. Great post Mikkel and I'm ashamed to admit its a long time since I visited DRC and you living in Denmark too. Maskol has been used to good effect on creating peeling paint.
  3. No problem my friend except everytime I try to take his photo for some reason he sings 'We're off to see the wizard...' I don't think he has a brain. Photos now added but not brilliant I'm afraid. They're a Monty's figure from Dart Castings. ps I've just asked him what he does if a bird craps on his head. His reply was 'I don't take her out again !'
  4. Cracking job on the van Mark.Did you see Chris Nevards model here which shews the mouldings off to good effect.Look forward to your GWR version.I can't justify one I'm afraid. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/61028-gwr-z2-gunpowder-van-new-release-from-parkside-dundas/
  5. I quite agree David. However all is not lost as this evenings 'thrill' comes in the shape of Hall class 4948 'Northwick Hall' on a down milk train of Dapol Express Dairies tankers and my kit built Comet diagram K42 full brake.
  6. No he's going to Everton. Ducks for cover !
  7. I think it was the great Bob Paisley who said 'First is first and second is nowhere' as Roberto Mancini is about to find out. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22501572 Rooney wants to leave but where to ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22502958
  8. The website for the place looks ok. http://www.thepackhorse.co.uk/ The owners are Linda and Ken Finching believe it or not.
  9. Well thats nice to know and he's in exalted company using one of those.Norman would be proud.
  10. Nice work Mark and I also like the MiniNatur products although not easily found. The ones you used are too big to be used in a puffer bottle so a static grass tool is needed.Never used Carrs leaves but they look the job. What sort of camera does Jonty use ?
  11. A final few for the weekend but it certainly isn't Didcot is it. No its Tigley Junction shed with four tanks at rest in 4540,4547,5525 and 3796.
  12. I've been trying to get some different angles for photos and here's a couple of shots as if they had been taken by Augustus Snodgrass or Arthur Swidger.
  13. I know where to look as we see another prairie today, this time 4575 class 5525 with a short freight on the up mainline.
  14. I've had it running on my rolling road this morning and its ok.I have a problem elsewhere meaning it won't be run and its all my fault.I'm embarrassed to say what it is.
  15. Its two weeks today to the Railex show.

    1. Captain Kernow

      Captain Kernow

And two weeks ago it was the Taunton Members Day... how time flies!

  16. Sometimes I see something on RMweb that makes me realise I'm only playing at being a railway modeller.Absolutely superb David.
  17. The morning sun catches 4547 as she gets under way on the mainline and its going to be a lovely day in the South Hams...
  18. A late addition for today sees small prairie 4547 leaving the fiddle yard with a three coach stopping train. This is the reverse view on the embankment of last weekends photos.More to come.
