    Its 12:30, about time I got dressed and some modelling done. Todays tasks, finish some houses and do the light fittings for them. Scribble a modified village layout on my baseboard and drill holes for the wiring.

      GRRRRR! The Kestrel Corner pub kit is fubar, only a coujple of parts match the product image. The frontage is completely different and I'm missing the correct window frames.

    Fair play to you. I would never be able to stick within a certain timeframe and region for the reasons you said. Hope you didn't take my comments as sounding a little 'off', as that was never the intention. As regards to the sugar factory, I've no real idea on how they worked their freight, I'm guessing their loco's stayed on site and the goods picked up by BR. But I guess the nearest large station would have been Peterborough East.

    Great Northern, I'm impressed how accurate you're keeping your schedule with regards to train formations etc. Do you ever run Thomas or some through just for the hell of it? Is there room for traffic from the Sugar factory?

    Got shortlisted but didn't get an interview, experience not recent enough apparently. How much can you make out of being a contract killer these days? Might be worth thinking about, talk about job satisfaction!
