  1. Certianly do. I built several in the late 1960s/early 1970s. A bit basic but could be modified successfully. More gen here --> https://www.maronline.org.uk/merit-124-scale-kits/ steve
  2. On CD Contains the only song in popular music where someone asks for a ladder... steve
  3. This looks a very promising project and right up my particular Strasse. steve
  4. Twin 1964 model. Basicically in excellent condition but needs a bit of TLC. steve
  5. Seen in local garage. Bentley S3 Continental. Owner is selling according to garage owner. Sat in it but think I'll pass this time. steve
  6. What are viewing it on? I can see it fine on my iPad and, if I turn it to landscape, on my phone. You need to scroll down a bit. steve
  7. https://m.facebook.com/Roadlegalstockcar/ steve
  8. I'm currently building (yet) another boxfile layout. It will be totally industrial and fairly anonymously, the idea being it can br run as both DB and BR. Here it is after initial test running in DB format. steve
  9. I thought here it would get a more suitable audience. Lilliput 23710 High sided advertising wagon "Eternit" As pictured but without load. Thanks for looking! steve
  10. Yesterday I was able to give the latest track a good clean and did some extensive test running with a selection of stock. Some of the testing stock was a little different, as I hope to make the layout fairly, shall we say, flexible in its running capabilities. steve
  11. Pleased to see George Dent was suitably supervised when laying his track... steve
  12. This was last night’s brew. Why doesn’t it come out straight? The photo I mean. The beer did! steve
  13. That’s the Fiat 124/MX5 cross, I’m guessing. steve
  14. Ah, that explains it. Never watched the programme. steve
  15. This one baffles me. steve
  16. Having been diverted into doing some decorating recently, the project has been unfortunately sidelined for a while. However, I have been able find enough time to give the track a rough coat of track colour paint and slap on a layer of ERFG standard ground cover canine excrement brown emulsion. As the decorating is nearly done, progress should hopefully resume fairly soon. steve
  17. Fascinating stuff. Guessing it was one of the depots in Bristol for most of it? steve
  18. Whilst I would agree that the price is excessive to some degree, I feel you are being overly harsh about the layout itself. It takes a Steve Flint or a Chris Nevard to bring out the best of layout in photos. As for it being a copy, small depot layouts follow a common pattern. Who's to know if the builder has ever seen Depot Lane. steve
  19. Must have been a Geordie elephant... steve
  20. Just proves what sort of morons they are. steve
  21. I rang them and was told the Knightwing crane is still awaiting delivery. Fair enough but a reply to either of me emails saying so would have helped. steve
  22. Nice 'found in a barn' patina on it too. steve
  23. Nah, it must be photo from a 1960s edition of Railway Modeller. steve
  24. It was only the covering flap that was released. There was a 'proper' screw on fuel cap inside. Extra security rather than over engineering to my mind. We were showed how to open the Skoda flaps when we took delivery of both cars... I like neat idea of the ice scraper that Skoda fit to the inside of the flap of the Karoq. Clever. steve
  25. One of the city's finest pubs (and it has a lot), Brigantes is to close the York Press reports. A sad day. steve
