  1. Does anyone know when MR106 will be in stock? I am no hurry at all, just want to know so I can see if I can spend money now or hold onto it.
  2. I ordered 3 sets of nameplates and I have to say the whole process was really straightforward and easy. I thought that the price was really good value for money, and the fact that I can see the artwork before it goes for etching is a huge bonus. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be ordering again.
  3. I placed a fairly medium sized order of small items including paint, sprays, wheels etc.... A couple of days ago and it has just arrived today, so I am very happy with their service and communication, I will be placing another order very soon.
  4. Is back to school!

Building wagons behind the bike shed?

  5. Very nice wagon, interesting read, thanks.
  6. Pre ordered my model, looking forward to receiving it.
  7. Hi there, I'm sorry if this is obvious but I can't seem to find it anywhere, how can I order or pre order a weathered version?
  8. Model engineering section, finally something good happened, love it.

  9. Hello everyone, Whilst I'm working away on commissions etc, I thought some of you might like to see what dad has been up to, he's just recently finished this O gauge Parkside Dundas 20/21 ton hopper an is now building a second one. Thanks, Nelson
  10. I just received in the post my order from modelmasters, including numerous transfers and 2 sets of LMS builder plates, I cannot fault their service, excellent communication (email and phone) as well as good delivery time, highly recommended.
  11. Very nice, I can't wait to receive my one, will you be doing a video perhaps?
  12. I'm sorry for replying to such an old thread, but the original post and following instalments were incredibly interesting, I never knew something like this could be done.
  13. You can find some excellent drawings for the Baltic tanks in this thread that I created some while ago. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/97273-bcdr-baltic-drawings/ I remember very clearly putting together a list of parts to create a accurate running chassis, but it would have cost me £70 and that's without any motor or gearbox, so i gave up haha. The body will have to be scratch built, I don't think there's any viable way around it. If anyone is interested, correctly sized wheels can be got from scalelink.
  14. Where can I find pics of OO gauge Baltic tanks? Would love to see some. I have always thought about an A3 chassis with an added bogie to the rear, however the drivers are a complete different size, but if that doesn't both you then workaday.
  15. Just fell off my seat, what an amazing announcement!
  16. Would it be at all possible if I could get a price list please? That would be great thanks.
  17. Rip old theme :( ah well pity.

  18. Have to agree on the parkside grain wagons, the 2 part floor didn't do any favours for me and I soon realised that I had 3 wheels touching the ground and one in the air. The roof also needed some modification but fits well once some work is done. Anyway a challenge is what keeps us interested in the hobby isn't it?
  19. Looks like a completely different engine, very cool.
  20. First batch still up for grabs at hattons, http://www.ehattons.com/stocklist/SiteResults.aspx?searchfield=Q6
