    Thanks for the updates Brian, I have always long wanted a Garratt but could never save up enough before they all sold out, however perhaps I am a little thankful of this. Anyway I will be following your repairs with great interest anyway.

    I'm going to say the model rail USA tank, the wealth of detail is just stunning and the motion is just simply exquisite. My chosen model for Bachmann's best. Edit: Another that I would put fairly high up within the ranks is the 4mt tank.

    I completely understand your frustration, this happens to me all of the time. There are some people who are just completely reluctant to send anything at all to Northeren Ireland and then there are others who will charge extortionate prices for delivery.

    Hello everyone, I thought I would share with you all how far my BCDR brake van has progressed and as can be seen from the photo I would say that I am half way through, there is still a lot more work to do, but thankfully Easter is here so that means two weeks off school. The body and chassis are still separate and probably won't be joined together until just before painting. Thanks for looking! Nelson.

    Hello Leslie, I'd be more than happy to obtain 3 or 4 from yourself, however not at the same time haha, once finances allow it then I certainly will. I can understand your concern as in the past many people have scratchbuilt their own brown vans, so may not see the need in the kit? Nelson

    Can anyone please advise me as to why the carriages have pickups on the bogies? Surely they just adding to the overall cost if the carriage does not have any interior lighting.

    Hello Everyone, Just a quick update to show how far I have got with the BCDR brake can. Currently it happily clips onto the chassis and I am happy with how it's progressing. Yes I forgot to paint the inside of the duckets but don't worry I'll drill behind them and paint from there. Glazing for them will be done with glue and glaze. Unfortunetly my desk lamp has broke so I will need to obtain a new one when funds allow it, but that means that I can't model during the nights which is unfortunate. Thanks, Nelson
