Andy, I've found it, thanks for your help, there's an invisible button beside where it says "my followed topics" and that hides or shows it, thanks

  5. I'm not using the fake coal load, But i will be using real coal, but the wagon will be empty so maybe like a pile of coal in one end, something like that.
  6. Hi guys, I haven't yet started the 12 ton van or brake van, as some much needed research needs to be done, especially the detail of the under frame So as a side project I've decided to take inspiration from Loxborough's brilliant thread, especially his Dapol 9 plank wagon, which inspired me to have a go as well but with a different wagon. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/68508-coal-empties-for-the-ecml/page-6 The Dapol 5 plank open wagon. This is what I have done so far today, It may look really messy, but all that will disappear later on. I really should have used brass, but I haven't got any, so I made do with plasticard. So please feel free to comment, ask questions, constructive criticism, etc.... Thanks Nelson

  8. A very rare occurrence indeed. Sorry if this is a silly question, but would that sight ever happen before with all the CIE locos up north?
  9. The rain is lashing down here at the moment :-(

Whilst not knowing what the 80 class sandite is, I still rejoice in your total enjoyment. Glad you had your best day ever!

Thanks, vid should be up tonight.

  11. Hopefully it doesn't rain this time when I film the sandite.

  12. Simply beautiful, superb work on her she would grace any layout with pride, well done.
  13. Maybe these will make up for the bright yellow DEMUs Here's what we have to see everyday here in Northern Ireland But at least we have the steam excursions to look forward to. Please note that these and the others are all video stills, so I'm sorry for the poor quality.
  14. Thank you, I had noticed that they were very yellow, it'll look worse when I film it in the sun Some carriages are darker than others as they were painted over 2 years at York Road Depot. But I guess we have to remember that we are thankful that they weren't scraped like the others, and that this one has a preservation life ahead of it.
  15. Here's my lot to add to this amazing photo collection of locomotives. These photos were taken either yesterday or today, hope you like them. The amazing 80 class DEMUs are taking this years NIR sandite. Unfortunately it was raining but that's expected over here Thank you Nelson
  16. Typical, as soon as I bring the camera out to film the sandite, it begins to rain, it mustn't like me :-(

It definitely is a challenge with all that rain pouring down :-)

  17. I never thought about doing it that way before, that's interesting and looks easier.
  18. Superb work on the buildings and k4s, I will definitely follow this thread with interest. I'm guessing your using plasticard for the buildings? I may be wrong, if I am then, what material are you using please? Thanks Nelson
  19. "I've got her, I've finally got her" I finally got the sandite filmed, I'm now a happy boy :-)

  22. Don't forget about the cab detail as well, such as the boiler backhead etc.. Is the cab roof removable?
  23. Absolutely fantastic, the amount of detail is amazing. Well done.
