Hi David. I've posted here as I didn't want to hijack the 03 thread. I'm interested as to how you added the pick ups to your 03 as I've tried to do the same to an early Bachmann/mainline chassis and struggled to solder anything to it.

    Regards.

  3. Why on my work laptop does Google Chrome know my location in the UK but Bing which I am also logged into via my Microsoft Work account think I am in Spain, so much so that the searches come back in Spanish and it asks me if I want to translate back to English.

  4. Thank you for travelling with SpaceX - please leave the rocket as quickly as possible and ignore the fire around the base.

  5. Hello Folks!

After a period of dormancy after signing up, I have decided it is time to make a start sharing my modelling exploits on here with you all. I plan to post an update later on today, so please keep an eye out and feel free to leave any feedback on any posts that I put up, it will be greatly appreciated. Hopefully there will be a lot of interest in the updates I put up.

    Thanks,

  6. Come in from the Waterloo Bridge road and walk right down, passed the big green doors into the W&C line depot, along from that was the BRS repair shop, next to that was the ODM workshop being on the left, over in the corner was the BR stores ( Drivers bags, cleaning gear etc )

Then round the corner under the telephone exchange was our other workshop that repaired battery platform sweepers and the BRUTE tugs.

The 'other bit' by the Armstrong was the lighting department, next to that was the 'Plans arch' and the 'Lamp arch' which repaired the tail lamps.

  7. I intend to use single LED's both end's, so using a  Laisdcc 1K Ohm 1/8 SMD resistor board with it to save space.

  8. getting down with Emojis could get you into trouble.... a member of my team messaged me saying a member of her family had passed away and she would be sorting out things for next few days.  Thinking "i get this emoji" lark i pressed the "heart" button which on here means "friendly supportive" but it turns out on my work comms account means "i love what you just said"... a quick follow up apology was sent to assure her i am not the most insensitive boss of the century... damnit i think i'll just stick with words
