Damn. My vacation goal is unachievable then. Hmm. Maybe Ill stumble across something. I managed to in Paris.

There used to be a decent train section in one of the larger toy stores, but that went. There's Hobbyland at the end of the Vondelpark but even given my interest in Dutch stuff, I didn't find a huge amount there a year ago - friendly enough shop, though, but check opening times.

      Paris is much better, indeed.

  2. Does anyone sell individual 1/76th bricks? I think it would be a fun idea to either inlay track or build a structure realistically.

  3. Why must Humbrol enamel take hours to dry? Testors are dry in minutes. It really puts a damper on progress when a tiny touchup takes hours to dry.

Testors are easy to find, and rarely give me issues. Though I have had issues with "matt" blacks being satin.

Vallejo would be interesting to try.

Its currently forming a boil so no chance of infection yet. Though if it pops, Ill definately clean it, rub any and all burn cremes I can find on it, and bandage it up. Though it was a very minor burn to begin with.

It should not be a boil (a yellow filled zit) if it is get to a doctor PDQ. It should be a blister that is only filled with water, this normal. It will pop in a day of two and the skin under it will be a bit red but nothing to worry about.

    4. Spitfire2865

      Spitfire2865

Sorry, yes Ozzyo, its just a blister. Got my words mixed up.

Thanks. I found using turtle wax makes a bit of a mess and I want to be able to run the body shell under a tap at the end to remove the leftover polishing compound. And well...I have no skills to make a new mech, nor would I like to ruin a new loco in the first place.
