  4. There was a lot cancellations yesterday on the Bristol and S Wales route around about 40 trains due to no Drivers.
  5. Most of the hydraulics stored at Bristol Phillips Marsh were Bristol allocations,I remember Cardiff Canton having a withdrawn Hymeks stored on the back of the shed before going to Swindon and Teds stored as well before they got sold. Old Common had stored withdrawn Warships and Hymeks on shed as well before moving to Swindon. Cheers Gareth
  6. You could be right it could be a Class 22 ,but all the same a great Hydraulic era and a great photo.
  7. Yes I remember them all but as you say Brian Terry's Train shop what a bloke if you went in the shop and just looked around and didn't buy anything you could look out you as you would get some abuse, not surprised he lasted as long as he did. Cheers GARETH

  9. Hi Steve Will you be able to order a Class 22 when you publish the details? The Hornby magazine says you can order via the web site but web site only shows class 15’s. Thanks Gareth

  12. A Western on the Cardiff Valleys D1023 running light engine at Taffs Well Feb 77 Old Oak to Pontypridd to replace 37179 which took over from D1010 at Cardiff with a coolant leak. I wonder if a TOC would do something like this on today’s railways,I somehow don’t think so. Great days. My photo Cheers Gareth

  15. Hi Mark The engine had just come off the 4V66 Stratford - Pengam liner so the headcode is on the rear of the loco after the previous days working. Thanks Gareth
