Don't forget the booked double headed freights we had in South Wales
MGR's out of Aberthaw early 80's all booked for 37's, some of the West Wales oil trains booked 37's , Iron Ore triple headed 37's then double headed 56's.
There was a double passenger booked for 2 50's Cardiff - Glasgow as far Birmingham New Street.
Double headed 25's and then 37's on the Summer Saturdays on the Cambrian.
Not surprised lack of steam locos ,crews, high prices, lack of train paths.
Some of the steam paths are proving to be very difficult to time in some areas due to number of stops and water stops required.
On Tower site today 128 due within the next week.
Heljan only just released the 20's they don't give you much time wallet smoking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MK 2 stock started to appear from 1968 onwards I would say it's 1971 onwards as Bristol Temple Meads re signalling was 71.
Hymek D7024 I would say 64/65 as it shows Padd still got search light signals Padd was re signalled in 67.
Hope this might help.
Cheers GARETH
