  1. The Girl is Fine - Fatback Band
  2. You're welcome Railroadbill, it is one of my favourite layouts, been following it on here since it was built and see it for the first time at the Romford show on the 11th November. Steve.
  3. No problem, it did surprise me to see it for sale. Steve.
  4. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/128305-shoeburyness-model-and-hobbies-show/ Put a couple of photos of the layout on this thread as the layout was at the Shoeburyness show. Sadly no green diesels but the layout still looked great. I was surprised to hear the owner has put it up for sale. Oh for a lottery win! Steve.
  5. Had a great day on Saturday at this show. It's not a strictly model railway show but it's well worth a visit as there's always a good selection of layouts and it's good to see other bits of model making. Thought I'd post some pics of some layouts. St Marnock Engine Shed Caradon Junction East Park Depot Ebsworth St Acacia Avenue
  6. More inspiring stuff Adrian, the soldering looks fine to me. Keep up the good work. Steve.
  7. Steve Thanks Harry2013. Think I've hit upon an idea I like. I'll post some pics as soon as it's done. Steve.
  8. Ok, thanks for that Grahame. If you use brick paper to cover card how do you line the brick courses up, is just a case of measuring accurately? Steve.
  9. Grahame, I really admire your work and it's inspired me to have a go at a small low relief building. Have you got any tips or advice on cutting out the window apertures so they are all square etc or is it just a matter of practice? They look ok until I put a window frame in then I can see how un-square they are! Steve.
  10. Great photo's James, the layout's really looking good. Steve.
  11. I think the weathering on No 243 looks great, very subtle and realisitic. What techniques did you use? Steve.
  12. Thanks Gary. Look forward to seeing your layout develop. I like the concrete hut and the bridge looks great. Steve.
  13. Having looked through the thread on grounded rolling stock I was wondering if anyone can identify this ex coach pictured at Romford in the 70's I believe? I wouldn't mind trying to model it. Steve.
  14. I really like the way you can use stock from different eras, nice set of photos Matt.
  15. Walking on Sunshine - Rockers Revenge
  16. Been messing around with another idea, to have some buildings and walkways and pipes disguising the layout exit. Not really sure what to do. Steve.
  17. Finished the bridge Not sure whether to leave it as half a road and place some vehicles on it or put some factory backs on there? Steve.
  18. Made a start on a bridge at the other end of the layout. I was really pleased with it but having taken a picture the concrete lintels look a bit iffy, not sure how I'm going to flatten them out a bit. Steve.
  19. Darling Darling Baby - The O jays, Not spelt the same I know but is this allowed? Steve.
  20. My pleasure Mudmagnet. The owner said he may run it with some different stock and maybe some green diesels next week, be good to see the difference. Steve.
