  4. Nearly done my buildings. Just got to weather the roofs and finish the water tank. I tried 2 different methods of building the roofs and much prefer the one on the left. Shame that's not the building at the front of the layout! Steve

  7. More great work Adrian. I find your work really inspiring and love the updates to this thread, the water tower thread is quite handy as I've taken some photo's of one I'd like to build for my layout. Just need to work out where to start! Keep up the good work. Steve.
  8. Looking good Vaughan45, what are the Redutex sheets like to work with? I really like the way you wrapped the sheets round the door frame, really effective. Steve.

  10. Visited my mate in Norfolk and seen these at Norwich Station. 37 425 made a fine sight and sound departing with the train for Lowestoft. Steve

  18. Thanks guys, I didn't think about the fact you can mix the shades and colours you want and then make your own wash, saves me buying a load of products. I might give some of the oil and grease washes on the market a go though. Steve.
  19. Can anyone tell me if there's a difference between making your own wash using diluted paint or buying ready made washes. Just wondered. Steve.

  21. My local Hobby Craft (Romford) have A1 size foamboard at 4 sheets for £10, think it's on the website as well. Steve.
