    Dock Green

I'll never tire of these photo's, it will be a shame when they eventually run out but I've made it my mission to see Dock Green in the flesh somewhere, hopefully next year. Have a great xmas Chaz and thanks for posting the pics. Steve.
  14. Nice rakes of wagons Steve, I really like the coal wagons, they look just how I remember them. Steve.
  15. When I lived in my 1 bed flat I had a piece of MDF cut to the width of my breakfast bar/workstation, it had some beading around the edge to stop anything rolling off and a bit on the underside at the front to brace it against the worktop, worked a treat, I used to like working there as the fluorescent light was far better to work under than anything I had at the time. Steve.
  16. If I were a new reader, following a layout I could build from start to finish would be fantastic, from planning, baseboard building, tracklaying, scenery, stock, Dcc or Dc? Weathering and operation. here has been a lot of articles covering that in the last 3 years but your own Ruston Quays would be a fine example. But if it's about getting people to try or move to digital editions, for me video stuff would be important as just to read some text and see pictures I prefer a paper magazine I can pick up, leave open and come back to where as Videos would appeal to me more as you can watch something actually creating something. I recently subscribed to another well know Railway modelling magazine and a years digital editions came free with it but all they are the paper magazine in PDF format, there's nothing to inspire me to go digital. Just been looking through the Jan 2018 issue and the Disdbury Green project would be a perfect candidate for a video 'how to' It looks good and achievable, hopefully see it at Alexander Palace. Steve.
  17. I'm looking forward to seeing this grow, love the idea. Steve.
  18. Like the close up photos. Sometimes texture can look overdone but that looks great. Steve.
  19. It's great to see that we've been asked for some input and I think that is to be commended. Unforunatley I dont get the digital version but if I did I'd like some 'how to' videos ie, weathering, static grass, kit builds etc. Not sure if that helps. Steve.
  20. Fantastic GE Mainline pics, I grew up watching these trains thunder through Romford. Brings back memories, great stuff. Steve.
  21. Thanks Dave. I'm pleased with how it's going at the moment, never thought about showing it though. Steve.
