I’ve noticed our Colonial cousins across the pond often refer to latex glue and paint in their magazines but I’ve never managed to identify it this side of the Atlantic. What do yuo buy?

No, mine arrived wihout any foreign bodies. They did arrive with two other items ordered from the same seller the following day! Excellent tweezers and, as stated in a post above, the protective sleeves really do stay in place

Yse that is definitely South Dock at Swansea. The building to the right of the far side of the bridge is now a pub. The bridge is retracted and locked back as South Dock is now part of Swansea Marina. There is an excellent Sunday market held to the left of the train.

Phil, other people have sold things on RMWeb by listing what they have and asking for PM’s? I have both bought and sold things that way. Give it a try

Apologies if this appears elsewhere in this thread but what is the depth of your baseboard framing? I am about to begin baseboard construction for my first layout for 30 years and have ordered pre-cut 100mm deep plywood for the framing

I know tnis is very off topic but if Cardiff isn’t mentioned is Swansea? St Thomas’s was a Midland Railway outpost in Swansea but did it see any through workings to anywhere?

On the Serene & Delightful theme, today is my 65th birtday and my son and daughter gave me this:-
It’s an actual cast metal sign and the idea was that I hang it in the toilet but, being 16” x 12”, I don’t think the plasterboard will take it
For my intended model of Mountain Ash (Oxford Street) I need a model of a small TVR signalbox. Now the Taff Vale fitted its boxes with very distinctive barge boards. My question is has anyone produced these commercially? Alternatively are there any drawings in existence so that I can get some made? I’m working in 1:76
TIA

You could also possibly blame Storm Ealanor for taking out part of the supply network somewhere thus leaving less copper through which to send your electricity?
