  5. Johnster, very few bogie suppliers include bearings, expecting the purchaser to have these to hand. I suspect this is a throwback to when Keen/Maygib and Gibson wheels came with bearings. Also they must be top hat ones. HTH Tim T Modelling Cwm Cynon in EM

  7. Clive, no you are not alone as I have never been nor am I likely to being a poor pensioner shielding his loot from HMRC clutches (legally). However whilst I was employed one of my employers sent me to Hong Kong many times, Bangladesh, Thailand, South Africa, Mocambique and Eire. I also managed to visit California and Canada enroute from Hong Kong effectively circumnavigating the globe. Tim T

  11. I’m afraid that most of my boxes end up in recycling. Without them, together with the acompanying plastic, they takeup half the volume! I don’t sell them as I can’t be bothered with all the hassle of online auction sites. Others obviously have more patience Tim T

  19. A “stick” is a simple single track “fiddle yard” that allows you to represent the rest of the railway world off stage, so to speak. Most micro layouts simply do not have any provision for changing over stock in the scenicked area. HTH Tim T
