    No I didn't the body was damaged but it was the chassis I was after and I was happy with the price paid. So they didn't need to do anything. My point is they advertised it as new - clearly it wasn't. And I certainly wasn't driving back to the show to return it

    Sadly they could be offering it for £1 and I wouldnt be interested. At a show last year at the derby roundhouse I purchased a Class 20 with sound spilt from Permenant Way set. Advertised as brand new, I got it home to find 2 front buffers had been glued on. I only wanted it for the chassis and the price wasn't bad, but I thougt it was bad form to sell something as new that clearly want. Furthur evidenced by the fact its DCC address was 88. I didn't bother complaining but I wont use them again.

    Most of the bargains are going now. I had my first hiccup with Hereford models today, ordered a Jinty, received a 45XX. Ive emailed and asked for an exchange hopefully I hear back soon. EDIT : All sorted

    He wouldnt be able to claim jobseekers anyway - he would have to claim universal credit. His wifes income would be taken into account so if shes got a well paid job it would zero any entitlement to UC

    I had a J94 for around a week before I ended up returning it. Detail was really nice and I thought id got it running ok, then one day it ran badly and started to play dead. Sometimes it was ok, other times it wasn't so back it went. Im tempted by a kernow 1361 and certainly tempted to try another J94 but worried about a repeat of last time The J94 can still be got new from Hereford models in a few liveries including the ltd edition yellow

    Could be trident trains but last time I spoke to the chap who runs the shop ( at least a month ago ) he wasn't doing collections.

    Ive had a few offers accepted by rails via there ebay. I like to buy the bundles of wagons they put up. Almost always make an offer and most of the time its accepted. Best deal I got was getting £20 off a £160 via the make offer button. Was well 'chuffed'

    I used to work in a petrol station, the amount of times a customer says they have no means of payment was obscence. But because they came into the store its a civil officence, police not interested - no crime occurred. Its only a crime if they drive off without coming in the store.

    Have a look at drop and go. You'll get a card that you top up online. Then you simply leave your parcels at the office, theres usually a designated place to leave them ( or ar least there is in the offices I work at ). You wont need to queue.     Ive been obtaining supplies from my local shop pretty frequently. Hes there 2 days a week and ive rang him with my requirements. I pay via BACS and when I get to the shop I ring him and he puts the items outside. No contact at all but vital support for the local shop.

    no mate but the headcode panel is blanked like the one pictured above, so it dosent light up so not needed however Ive also got a blue one with the 2 digit headcode box at the front. I didn't get one with that either even tho that needed them. I ended up paying a tenner for them from dcc supplies
