  2. One of these should fit there fairly small https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Laisdcc-860021-motor-4Function-DCC-Decoder-with-trailing-NEM-652-plug-UK-Stock/192696880266?epid=1162507678&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item2cdda10c8a:g:hLYAAOSwUDlc-QV5&enc=AQAEAAACYIQvEcHUrT7nmUC3yY5qbPyaBN1nJEDYW8MyypsJPgXK4PLYVaIgu9w9Os2XtDHJenUy8m0ymgGN0qZfeAyhNpri%2Ba6Ksnwz6ehLidOLB2CVWmiZmrbY0GVC4huEa8steWG6UdajEiUNTIFV07GU7PfqU%2FaXV1Yt9B6OSH5qbiwHpa%2FScr1biXxz37lF7nPDGNipGhjoyn9Y1ysigDEMt4SzR22Qn2A5DnQNk1qhHpUJaWYk6Rs2%2F8fXe4o9ak56zDnE%2BxYkf7pUPFfFWZty9WgckSxg6WTDPWQWZG2cAqRz5OHqSW1NN0Bv1KhMNP8%2FdHYWcXTf%2F8pMZf4wingh36oiBtO%2BlJgbYDrIxjo6%2BVJzniB6YPVMYskH78ltv19FOh6U3woIYlqFx%2BifvQi5IqeSZemkWZAEM2vRVsE6L9YRHwc50WKTr8sOe%2F52JaXzhNHb4Dl4sa%2F5JP2uBeFhC3QG9uvwRf3EL0%2BKoMve0GvUKwQDYnJM%2FwYv9la0YHrCDIr5bIpWbawo0Pp7%2FPlnouq1MluYjp1%2BK34iDGltVKxq10BLLF154WwN1OaKCeebasflvEUvNBDe7JWlCLgrw1iP2%2BeivKtNGZIzDX9ExRcSFQ3RMzXaQbh%2BtasrGLBUNXfrq8HQNBSNhDfQY7KSaeWiDK78jeCyGWfUsYodKA38YRLaZe8pNztwDNXv7%2BwUoHmW4yupevEavXxwRxE96K9TunELpyWqFL3J8jnVP8xeVtPubNdjBY3thtoUuc%2F14OjOI%2FKjBl8nuAgbatYFEwAYgbNBZOA5pcc%2FG86vP8Yj&checksum=1926968802666c6e5a9cc524489a82841ce57c31c41c
  3. Currently im using modified code 100 electrofrogs with the polarity being switched with dcc80 autofrogs. Im considering swapping to code 75 and at the same time using the newer bullhead points. These are unifrog. Ive used unofrogs before with the 0 scale set track points and one power feed fed power to the entire layout so all routes were live, but as it was a simple end to end I didn't do any additional wiring So with the bullhead points do I still need to modify them and can I still use the dcc 80 to switch poliarty?
  4. I used to use the pva 50/50 method but now my preferred method is ballast magic. You mix the adhesive with the ballast, lay the ballast as rewqired and spray with water. Its really easy, especially for pointwork
  5. My 33008 arrived today and its a really nice model . DCC fitting was easy but ive noticed it got a bit warm whilst running in. Is this normal?
  6. Its the first ive heard that the imperiums are rebadged lais decoders. Ive got an imperium in mine and the saloon lights are still always on so I disable them using the switch inside the model. Try the lais one ive got lais in other locos no issues at all
  7. What product do you think they are selling that's suspended? The 1pm guarantee? Its well advertised that its now up to 9pm as I said above and I maje a point of telling people I sell the service to. They are using the 1pm labels - do you expect new labels? To answer another of your points about special delivery purchased online, sometimes the till dosent recognise the barcode when scanned at the post office. Sometimes it works if the barcodes keyed in manually. I don't know why this happens. If not youd have to take it the main sorting office. EDIT - just seen you mean the label that prints off the till - we cannot alter what goes on that label bar the postcode and house number. Everything else is automatically generated when you say what service you want. For special delivery its 3 buttons - by 1pm - by 9am and Saturday guarantee. Then more buttons to select value - standard cover from £500 on the 1pm up to a max of £2500
  8. Special delivery items are being guaranteed as next day delivered up to 9pm at night now. This is assuming the sender gets to the post office before last collection which at one of the branches I work at is 11am at present. If they arrive on a Monday afternoon at 1pm it wont be delivered until Wednesday as it wont leave the post office till Tuesday. Come after last collection on a Saturday and it wont be there until tuesday But any issues the sender has to sort as they have the contract
  9. I had to do the same with the DJM J94, Shame it was a really nice loco just ran like rubbish
  10. There were 12 of the grey mobil ones when I ordered a couple and there were 4 of the black ltd edition shell ones and I had 2 of those as well
  11. More Hereford models bargains... the more I look the more I find... this is my 4th order in the space of a week. So TTA tankers at under 11 quid a pop - ive already helped myself to some but still a few left... https://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=tta+tank Hornby 101 DMUs under £70, GNER HST at under £80 http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=524_1&page=1&sort=3a Loads more no doubt.

  14. Hi Got a DJM J94 last week and the above mentioned Bachmann decoder which is a rebadged zimo according to the package. The J94 when I first got it was a bit of a rubbish runner on DC but with several hours running in its not to bad. Fitted the decoder and it runs very haphazardly. Random speed ups and slow downs. Does anyone have any suggestions for CV changes to improve running? I tried turning off back emf and upping the start voltage but all that's done is make it shoot off in reverse on speed step 1 but it does start slowly going forward. Also occasionaly it refuses to move at all forwards or backwards. Anyone got any suggestions before I send the loco back? The decoder is ok as I swapped it into an 08 using a 6 - 8 pin cable and its fine
  15. Id contact the person that sent it - it shouldn't take that long unless its gone by sea

  19. The Hereford models site really is a gold mine for bargains. I just managed to pick up a DJM J94 for £81. They had a few different liveries available as well. http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=340_350_527 Also noticed class 105 in green for £83 and Bachmann wagons starting at 7.95 for box vans and open wagons. Picked up a few of the box vans myself, be rude not to at them prices. http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=340_350_355_357&products_id=11673 http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=369_370_377_387_391&page=1&sort=3a
  20. Hi mate i work in a post office with drop and go you just leave the parcels and go. You don't need to queue as it defeats the object. We then process them when we get chance between customers. Youll have an online account and all your tracking number appear online for you. What was the weight of your track you sent? Was it in a normal parcel size?
  21. Thank goodness for that. I was looking for some PL-10 fishplates and couldn't find any. Looking on ebay reveals some model shops trying to charge well over a tenner a pack. One of which I used to use on a regular basis for ebay purchases. Not anymore. Same goes for the shops who tried ripping people off with a single bog roll for a quid or hand gel for a tenner a bottle.
  22. They've got them in Tesco but not as nice as the ones I normally get from the oatcake shop in fenton
