  1. TRAINS NO MORE! Here are some photos from a day out visiting closed lines starting at Lowgill Viaduct before heading up to see some of the remains of the Stainmore route around Tebay and Kirkby Stephen.
  2. Hopefully SLW sound file will have the ETHEL mode option in it like Legomanbiffo does so that not matter how slow or fast it goes the sound doesn't change.
  3. just in case anyone wanted to now how to say it.
  4. If 25260 is ever done id have it like this please.
  5. It is possible that they have maintained the same price as the class 24, if this is so then the pricing will be as follows. PRICING • Sound-equipped locomotive (DCC) £295 • Standard locomotive (12V DC analogue) £185 Sound loco will operate on DC but with limited functionality – engine sounds and some lights only Stay-alive upgrade (only with DCC sound option); • SC68 6,800µf super-capacitor pre-installed (£30 extra) Alternative wheel options: • OO/16.5mm gauge wheels as standard (no charge) • EM/18.2mm gauge wheelsets, factory-fitted (£20 extra) • P4/18.83mm gauge wheelsets, factory-fitted (£20 extra) With EM & P4 orders, the redundant OO wheels are included as spares, in case they are needed in the future. Postage • P&P for one model (Royal Mail UK tracked and signed for): £8 Capped at a maximum cost of £10 for 2+ models delivered at the same time. Overseas P&P quotation given on request. VAT will be deducted from overseas sales where legitimate.
  6. Very happy about the BWA/BXA 14.00 onwards
  7. Just found some great videos on Youtube of Warrington I think I might have to try to put together a train like the one at 9.30
  8. How about a single Class 20 with just 6 wagons, 3 loaded, 3 empty at 1.28 and it returns with 15 at 14.57
  9. MK4s heading to Eastleigh For scrapping, repaint or just storage I wonder.
  10. https://www.Bachmann.co.uk/category/model-railway/branchline/diesel-locomotives 4th & 5th items down from the top still saying awaiting
  11. If both units come powered and using one DCC chip then I would be willing to part with £250, £300 seems just a tad too much for 2 albeit heavily adapted 08's. But if they do go ahead with the class 13 then maybe they could investigate using some of the tooling to tool up the cutdown cab 08/9's as well, 5 running numbers 4 liveries and a they eventually spread their wheels far and wide, even working on Metrolink in Manchester.
  12. Just look at those RRP, the class 24/1 has had a £10.57 per year price increase in the 7 years it took to arrive! I also used those TTA wagons as a example in an Accurascale thread about when to announce a model saying they had been in the drawing office for nearly 8 years.
  13. This suddenly came up on my Youtube suggestions
  14. Rails website updated today, 9.30am Wednesday for spring update https://railsofsheffield.com/news/articles/3740-Bachmann-s-spring-announcements
  15. Olivias site now says pre order due March 2021 As for class 68 Rails showed they had arrived yesterday but all their allocation was sold out to pre orders
  16. I do remember it well, especially the advert, most of our photos of the area were taken when we would go shopping with our mother and we would get an hour of that visit to take photos and numbers. Only later in life after everything good had sadly gone did I visit Southport regularly when I worked for Blockbuster.
