I am hoping to collate information about the attendance at shows held this year, compared with attendance at the equivalent event last year. Obviously a lot of factors affect attendance including weather, competing events - not just Covid. But it might help exhibition managers and committees if there was some rough indication of attendance levels, to help decision making, estimation of break even points, admission charges etc. How could such information be collected on a common basis please, and does any of it exist already with recent shows eg Uckfield, Leeds etc.? I understand the reasons and viability issue. But I do wonder what will be any different in 2022? Will perception of risk change even though actual risk may be identical next year?
