I have emailed the owners of this loco with a view to it being a static display in the main hall? Virtual space, virtual budget..... -

This thread being virtual dont we have the use of TARDIS technology? "ability to change their appearance in order to blend in with their surroundings..... while the exterior is of limited size, the TARDIS is much bigger on the inside, containing an infinite number of rooms, corridors and storage spaces." LOL -

Todays trip to the railway on my bike saw the Round Oak to Margam empty steel train. Interesting mix of SKF and Timkin bearing covers on the wagons. -

Tuesdays bicycle ride as part of my daily exercise saw Burton on Trent to Cardiff Tidal empties returning south. Great to see none bogie wagons still in use, VGA vans originally built in the early 1980s, when I were a lad. -

Part of my daily exercise saw Mondays Avonmouth to Penyffordd train. First time I have seen this train which seems to be shorter than the Clitheroe, is it because the terminal is not a large at Penyffordd? -
Brunel Mews looks excellent, I have a few satellite dishes somewhere in a bit box, any interest or are you all fibre optic? May I be so bold as to suggest at least 3 wheely bins per property?

Yesterdays Wentloog to Daventry failed last evening in Cardiff so 66405 came from Crewe earlier to rescue the train. I combined my government approved exercise with a trip to see a rare daylight northbound Tesco train through Chelt. -

How about adding a level crossing to the layout and the old design of box looking after the gates only?

The original "art work" was on a wall located near the old GWR Malvern Road loco shed, now a cycle path, sorry I have not been able to find the photo we had from the 1980s. The original was reproduced on the brilliant layout Hayley Mills in the 1990s, see below. I then updated it on Russell Bridge and now it has a further lift on the Wonderful Wyvern....

Superb detailing there between TNT building and the main line, especially like the remnants of the old point.

Part of my daily government approved exercise saw this light engine move at 8am today Merehead to Leeds, guess we will loose this livery..... -
Have always been keen to model in a realistic manner even if this means reproducing a form of vandalism. Controversially I do see it as a form of art but hypocritically I would not like it on my wall. Anyway here is a current work in progress for a future layout.

The same rake was on a UTube of Bristol area this week and the other side of the last wagon has some more new graffitti, hope the taggers are practicing social distancing, LOL. You know we will get in trouble here talking about this form of vandalism, for me it is just modelling research. I will post a pic on my Cadoxton Quay thread of current work in progress vandalism in 4mm
