  1. Although old cars (like Ford Anglias) don't need MOTs
  2. I'm in a similar position to you only mine is with the TransPennine Express Class 68s. I've got all of them except 68028 Lord President.
  3. I'm considering selling some model railway stuff on ebay, mainly locomotives and rolling stock, I no longer need. Anyone got any advice?
  4. It was Flying Scotsman's number before she was renumbered to the now famous 4472.
  5. This layout modelled on a section of Locomotion uses 4 scales to create forced perspective, which I think is really clever. The 2 lines in the foreground are O gauge, the tracks with the 2 brake vans on and the covered L&MR open coach are is OO and the track with the open wagon on, (behind the brake van), is TT. Finally, the track with the Class 08 and the Queen Mary brake van on at the rear of the layout is N!
  6. The one that started it all: The prototype Deltic at Locomotion in Shildon on 25/02/23
  7. Class 158 158905 at York on 18/02/23. This has got to be one of my best photos of a sprinter I've ever taken.
  8. With the baseboard temporarily moved into my room, I can now begin to plan a new layout.
  9. Right update, I've got all the ballast off and tried to carefully lift the track off the baseboard. Some bits of sleeper broke off some track pieces in the process but I held onto them so I could glue them back onto the track piece they came from.
