£254, that was the pre July price increase price - surely they should be complying with the 15% max discount off RRP? Other shops have them at £263.05 post price increase price.

Apologies if this has already been asked, if I wanted to create a North Wales coast LHCS Regional Railways 37 at the head which brake vehicle is most suitable? I’d use the Regional Railways TSOs as the middle vehicles. Although I’m not a OO modeller, the chance to have a NWC LHCS with cutting edge 37 and coaches is to good to miss. Cheers !

Gaugemaster got back to me they said, yes you can precorder but no eta of a release - nor did they say the models are firm releases or if we get enough orders type models. If it was the latter I’d sign up, but seems pointless saying I’ll have one if they never actually happen - if I say I’ll have one it means the money is in the pot waiting, in not keeping X amount for years potentially if the model never comes.

Any news even if one or two projects are missing is a huge leap forward, we all some manufacturers treat product updates like state secrets then probably take umbridge when they get slated.

I’ve contacted GM in regards to these but no reply as yet - does anyone know if their a firm release or one or these “if you come, we’ll build it” type projects ?

DC Railfreight 60029 returning to light loco to Derby after dropping a rake of wagons off at Pullmans Cardiff yesterday (Saturday 19th June), passing through Chepstow on Sunday 20th June 0Z60.

Colas 37099 swapped places with fellow Colas 37254 at Rhymney this afternoon after only a week stay for the former loco, 099 taking up rescue duties as required for TfW 769 fleet.

I watched a program the other day about all the cruise ships being stored, the biggest ones require a 24/7 crew of at least 100 to simply stand still and maintain the ship.

How practicable is it to unbox even 500 models, test them then rebox without significant impact on other activities? Obviously the sound batch go through that process but I’d assume they’d be in the minority of the consignment? Maybe easier to visually inspect the boxes prior to despatch to shops, then deal with any issues on a returns basis ?

Thank you MRD, no your right I didn’t noticed the X on the google preview, so basically it is my fault for not fully reading the information - however with other non essential retailers open I assumed (what do they say about making assumptions?) you’d be open as well. You are my local shop so hopefully when you are open again I’ll pop over to spend my pocket money.

Today I thought I’d “shop local” by popping over to Model Railways Direct, as I wasn’t sure how to get their I googled directions and checked the opening times. Google opening times (updated 3 weeks ago) said yes they where open, excellent into the car I go and about an hour later I arrive outside the shop. Hmmmm, doesn’t look very open...went to the door which was locked, rung the phone number which said closed due fo government restrictions. Not impressed, either update your Google details to reflect your not open or don’t bother doing it ? Much needed income (I’d assume) lost, order placed online with a major retailer and I won’t bother again.

Another outstanding level of service from Tower, ordered at 10am - DPD delivery email for tomorrow at 1030! that’s more like Amazon delivery fair play.
