  1. Batch 3 is already sold out and on the way :) Batch 4 and 5 and ... however ...
  2. No, they are using the website images, the production batch are with our photographer at the moment, and will be updated (and shared in detail) next week.
  3. Well Jamie is a member of the team now so it will be a range of new accurascale files building on his expertise :)
  4. The entire coupling system has been rebuilt to match our other stock and locos so there is no droop and if you have a 92, 55 or irish A class you can see the same system in place.
  5. Can you DM us the retailer as they've misunderstood the process :) Retailers can take all the orders they can, from when we launch an item, and only have to 'lock in ' THEIR orders when the order window opens for them.
  6. Thanks Gary, yes the model has an all new PCB and lighting rig, with new LEDs, etc. We'll have detailed videos of the functionality in the coming weeks :)
  7. You should have, so if you haven't, or it ended up in spam, etc, do pop into live chat on accurascale.com or drop us an email.
  8. It's also a decorated sample, so has been subject to tweaks and changes since then - final production same photos will be release soon :O
  9. and that’s a wrap! We’ll see you again at Ally Pally!
  10. Exactly that. We’re currently reviewing systems and options to allow more flexibility around preorders too.
  11. Some vehicles lasted with the ‘early’ style until the very end of their careers, while others were outshopped with the revised versions very quickly. All our chosen subjects are based on dated photos but the principle blue/grey paint scheme didn’t change very much, just the details. What we don’t do now we’ll revisit in the future, especially as announcing models tends to ‘shake the tree’ a bit when it comes to new pictures and information
  12. In the cart you will find buttons to checkout (and pay up) pay a reservation and the balance later or pay installments. if you missed or hit the wrong button just drop us a line and we can reverse and refund and you can place again. Hope that helps!
  13. Am sure you can make an educated opinion when the 37 production sample photos and videos are shared next week Worth a mention that all three steps on our model is an individually fitted etch with full see-thru grid 👍
  14. As a general comment you can use the ‘reserve’ option in the cart to secure your model(s) with a 15% payment then pay the balance in full of in part any time that suits after that point.
  15. To be honest you’d end up with a more costly part that’s more prone to warping or fitting poorly for no better access. The solution we’ve settled on minimizes risk of poor fit, allows easy access to switches or Decoder and the body off is still easy and cable/detail snag free too.
  16. The 31 was a bit unusual, as sales were extremely strong, but the demand from trade was such that we essentially oversold the planned production run. More runs will be announced, but at the moment we're playing it safe.
  17. Hi Danny! Thanks for the questions! 1 - The coupling has been upgraded to our 'standard' NEM kinematic socket system, which is designed to work with all of our compatible stock (and any model with a NEM standard kinematic coupling system for close coupling, or a standard NEM socket / Coupler for 'regular' coupling; Anyone who has our Mark 5 coaches can attest to how well this system works between compatible vehicles for 'true' close coupling. Fixing a coupler to a bogie or chassis is not standard, not a good idea, and just not us. (unless its a 4 wheel wagon, and even then we design in movement) 2 - We've tooled, like we always do, an extensive suite, which includes a wide range of new, more detailed cabs, through to detail parts and changes needed to tool pretty much the entire range of variants now running on British metals. 3 - The accurascale 66 will run on regular 4 or 6 function decoders without sound, we recommend and will be offering a preprogrammed lokpilot from ESU 4 - We have plans to make the 66 a regular fixture on our production lines, adding new versions, never before seen versions, hero versions and mundane versions over the coming years. 5 - Our price for the 66 with all our standard features remains £169.99 ready and £259.99 with sound fitted. As per the Exclusive 31 just launched, we don't add premia for exclusives or more complex liveries.
  18. A batch 2 announcement will be forthcoming somewhat shortly :)
  19. Much the same reason we’ll never run cable between removable parts or roofs. All of our models feature pogo connectors to ensure clear roof removal if needed without anything snagging.
