There is a plan to offer a Lokpilot for lighting function, but no plans to offer a sound chip at the moment. We've noticed on some DT's there is poor connectivity between the pickups and the main pickup bar - we'll prepare a short guide / video shortly so you can pop the body off your DT and check / easily resolve if you are having any flickering.

It’s designed to be easily pop off able for exactly the reason stated above and a drop of glue on the assembly will fix it in place if you want a coupling. something we’ll elaborate more clearly on run 2 manuals.

We recommend gently prying the side of the coach with a guitar pick, credit card, or similar, and sliding a card into the clip location in each spot, and the body will cleanly slide away.

The limit was enforced on the website just for the TPE sets and would only have popped up had you tried to order more than 2 packs. it was an attempt to level the playing field for those who wanted a pack and left it too late. Ultimately we made more than 35000 mark 5’s and had preorders open almost four years. That’s more coaches than H and B have made coaches in the last 4 years combined. We put a lot of effort into making our products accessible and available (and still only £45 each) and don’t plan on ever offering a club or membership for a fee (our rewards club is totally free) Another Mk5 run will be along and will be available to shops too although the price will rise to cover traders and it will be at least 2 years away. It’s extremely encouraging and affirmative of our products, team and business model when a huge run sells out and generated such enthusiasm and it only spurs us on to bigger and greater things. The email alerts is a queue system, it takes 2x the available number for sale, and sends that number of emails, then repeats to the next number of emails on the list every 15 minutes or until they are sold. If your email is quite down the list, you may well not get an alert at all in mad cases like this where they sell out so rapidly. The moral of the story is to avail of the extensive preorder period for items you will get upset about not getting.

Afraid not how Shopify works (tho we have asked) otherwise you could pile up your cart, and then how long do we wait? First past the post is as fair as any other method unfortunately. Like other sell-out runs, this one was not small, and was on preorder for just shy of four full years. Many thousands of Mk5 packs are now with their owners, but if you left it to now and missed out, another run will undoubtedly be along in the coming years .

The maximum is one of each, unless you've already bought either (so if you have a pack 1, you can still buy a pack 2)

If it helps, we split what was left in two, half of the remaining stock sold out in about 5 minutes and the other half will go online this evening to facilitate those after work, other timezones, etc. There is actually a limit on these, of 1 per pack per customer per lifetime (so if you already bought one, you can't have a second pack from this batch) to be fair to all. Aha! yes indeed the accura EU and Irm uk sites have been deprecated and consolidated into the primary websites now so didn’t get that upgrade. Drop support a line if you want your orders moved over?

To clarify the 150 or so PACKS was less than 2% of the run :) Our warehouse has been dispatching about 300-350 orders per day (in addition to our ordinary level of shipments of all in stock other locos and wagons etc)

That is how it works at the moment. "Live / pending" orders are highlighted, and every order shows the thumbnails of it's contents
