  1. The 66 Project manager is at Glasgow but we’ll review and come back with what’s possible early next week.
  2. Now available on the accurascale website (and attached) for those unable to pick one up free at Glasgow. We will be listing the printed version on our website also free with orders or on its own for a small postage amount. Hope that helps! accurascale_spring_2023.pdf
  3. We’ve also prepared some bed-time reading in a brief history of the class https://www.accurascale.com/en-eu/blogs/news/shed-heaven-looking-back-on-25-years-of-the-class-66
  4. Check out the video and articles on https://accurascale.com for details and photos of the upgrades and retools. Any questions let us know!
  5. That's actually a first prototype PCB - the finished model will be per our other locos and have minimal cables and sprung pogo connectors where relevant.
  6. As you know we've done our own 7mm wagon, and a few more for others (some even award winning :) ) Perhaps another thread...
  7. Would you believe just landed at the office today! They will be at Ally Pally and we'll have photos, videos and shipping details in the coming week or so (and more announcements of course!)
  8. Absolutely, the rail is plastic, due to the mounting points, but will be formed from a very rigid type we've used in the past for details, and we've completely replaced the entire PCB and all wiring / LEDS to offer a complexly accurate lighting suite (and our standard stay live, accurathrash speakers, etc)
  9. We're shifting slightly to a model of smaller batches (as the volumes are staggering) so that we can deliver in short order, and then more frequent batches. No one wants to wait 2 years from announcement to a model after all.
  10. Generally the less you make the higher the price to recoup the tooling cost.
  11. Don't worry we only have one announcement a week this year :)
  12. Absolutely! We've lined up some more scans, and as always endeavour to be as accurate as possible in all areas.
  13. It's what @Accurascale FranCalls me when he's off to Glasgow and leaves the computer on :)
  14. For the most part, we agree, which is why we launched with Class 37/6- never done in RTR, with the Scottish headlight versions, never before done in RTR, with the eek, I've said too much/!
  15. https://www.accurascale.com/collections/crews-and-people Back in stock, ready to ship , watch this space for new crew packs for Manor, Class 37, Class 31 and more !
  16. The Mk.2c BSO is a standard railtour vehicle, yes. You don't have to invoke Rule 1 to send TSO(T) 6528 up north, there are pictures of it working on the Settle & Carlisle and other northern locations throughout the early 2000s and other points north of Watford as well as in the South West. A recent picture from 2019 even places it at Fort William!
  17. Many of the Mk.2s in the WCR fleet have been accumulated since the mid 1990s. It was an early form of WCR that provided the stock that was used on the Manchester Piccadilly and Birmingham New St-Cardiff Central, Cardiff-Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol/Westbury-Weymouth diagrams for South Wales & West/Wales & West and then the Wales & Borders's Rhymney-Cardiff-Fishguard diagrams right up until the early 2000s. Project manager Gareth photographed TSO(T) 6528 in railtour use in 2003 and it although it was mixed in with a rake of fully WCR lettered Mk.1s, it didn't have the branding itself (only the lining, plus an earlier number style). However by the end of the decade it was in the condition that the model will be finished in.
  18. The run is completely sold out on preorder now, for direct and trader allocations but our retail partners may still have small levels of stock to sell still.
  19. There is £100 minimum spend excluding VAT for the deposit or installment options to appear.
  20. Our glorious (and rapidly growing) Spring 2023 catalogue will be available to pick up at the show, concurrently available for download from our website and we hope to also start including it for free in all shipments in the coming weeks.
  21. as such. as always we just replicate the real thing as per the data we have. for these, the livery and painting is replicated in the model (bear in mind these are about the size of a thimble) :)
