Jim a similar thing has happened with the Barclays , accurasale say that monies will be taken in line with the original Hattons policy ( ie when the model is ready for despatch) but there website says May  8th , have quired  this either them and was told the monies would be due when the model is ready for dispatch. If seems they are having IT problems to me. Nay be worth contacting them to clarify

No need to contact. The system just assigns a due date but the invoice is not payable until the goods come in. We will be in touch in ample time when payment is due. We would just ask that if you do not wish to go ahead you cancel the order in your account area. There is no need to make updates or add payment details in the mean time and you can edit the shipping address any time in your account area before shipping.

Any specific questions beyond that do please reach out to us.

Looking forward to something new! Hopefully nothing that's being retooled by someone else.

Honestly, these days, it’s impossible to know :)

We have an extensive roadmap and right now there are over a dozen powered models past the point of no return and unannounced. If another manufacturer announces them or already has after we passed that point there isn’t much we can do except perhaps avoid directly duplicating numbers / liveries (which can be done right up to about 9 months before delivery).

Tomorrows announcement tho has not been announced by anyone else though. ;)

  3. For those with imported preorders you can use the account area to cancel them if you no longer wish to proceed otherwise payment is not due until they are in stock. Hope that helps!

Some have also queried the small price increase however factor the 3% back in points and free postage and the actual change is only around a fiver. Hope that helps too!

I assume the pre-order button on the Warwells will only appear once the existing pre-orders have been accounted for?

Twiddling thumbs waiting for the LMS variant, can only click through the two BR variants at present.

Quite a nice product portfolio building..... must can't resist !

The preorder button will actually disappear when the available balance of stock threshold is met. Meaning the system reckons we are sold out.

Good news though, the Shopify issue is resolved and all Uk orders will be imported tomorrow morning.

Once that’s done and customers confirm their orders we will have a more accurate handle on balance of stock.

Hope that helps. and the patience is appreciated

That's awesome news! Maybe a few days of Accurascale Towers* looking like the interior of a great maze made of nice quality coach boxes, shipping to retailers and pre orders and then maybe another few days to receipt. So maybe 2 weeks to get our grubby mitts on them, give or take a couple of days?

*I hope you don't mind me calling your premises that.

Not at all :) We actually just updated some of our webpages https://www.accurascale.com/pages/contact

  6. by way of an update, we had issues with Shopify, who have recently changed their API, causing VAT  issues on import.

at the moment all non-UK orders have been imported and emailed to customers and we are working with Shopify support to resolve the issue so we can restore the UK based orders

rest, assured, if you had an order placed with Hattons, we have it in hand

Agree, it is great that the Hattons models aren't lost to history and may still see another run. I'm trying to rack my brains as to what else they produced that Accurascale might have picked up.

In addition to the FEAs and the RHTT, there was a Beilhack snowplough in OO. I don't think the breakdown crane was ever made sadly. All of those would fit nicely in the Accurascale range.

In O gauge there was an A3, A4 and some Teak coaches which may also have been picked up given Accurascale are now dipping their toe in the O market. I don't recall Hattons releasing anything in N gauge but I could be wrong.

Obviously the future of the Class 66 and Genesis coaches are already known. What else did I miss?

For now, we confirm the Warwell in 4mm, and the AB and P. Rails will be handling and fulfilling the Genesis Run 2 which is in progress.

After that, stay tuned, dear listener :)

Hmm. I had an Accurascale account. I was even signed up for the "Points"

But doesn't seem to work and neither does the link in the email. All I'm getting is this when I click the link.

And when I select "Forgot your Password" I get this.

One for support rather than RMweb I reckon Jason

Any of those methods, and the team would be delighted to help.

The question I'm not clear about is, how do you know which account has ordered something? or put another way, how will you link the accounts on your website to the accounts that have the Hattons pre-orders?

    In simple terms

    - We match the email address you ordered with at Hattons with our database

    - If there is a match, the order(s) get added to your existing account

    - If there is no match, a new account is created for you at accurascale using the details from the Hattons order

You'll then be emailed an order confirmation, and the order will be visible in the usual way in your accura account.

Excellent to see these picked up and moving to a safe home! A slight shame about the price increase on the locos, but not that hard to stomach given the £99 tag is the exact same as these launched with back in 2018.

For those of us on Hattons books but already with an active Accurascale account, will the transfer process be any different?

A minor point, but do you know yet if these will arrive in Hattons or Accurascale branded packaging? I'm already imagining the 'Exclusives' job that could be done with a box in that Bluebell livery!

The Warwell range is packed and done, and will be in transit immediately post CNY. All other ranges / tools will come in accura boxes.

Thanks Roy, just confirming I'd located the text - couldn't find it initially.

I'm still curious for non-digital fan operation.

    Al.

On DC the fan is switchable from the blanking plate (on by default) and runs at a variable speed related to the loco speed / power applied. On DCC and sound it will run ‘intelligently’ based on speed and thrash like a real one as accuracy is in the forefront of everything we do. All for just £169.99 too :)
