    Since decoders are ‘simple’ enough components with little real difference between them is it a little akin to having a preferred brand of hifi or similar? Does it really matter if the actual functionality is all ‘out of the box’ so the decoder maker is abstracted away? It’s feasible to ‘build in’ a decoder to the pcb or leave it pluggable for under £10 these days. Would DC only users object to paying £179 say rather than £169 to have a decoder come as standard

    If anything it makes a case for only shipping models DCC fitted and DCC Sound fitted? Both options support DC running and both provide full functionality?

    There is always stock freed up after landing from incomplete orders. Make sure you pop your email in to the ‘notify me’ box and we will email you the moment they are listed.

    It’s not. We have tens of thousands of locos shipping in the next few months and don’t want to further complicate with part shipments!

    At the moment they are scheduled to be finished at the Factory in June. It had been a few weeks earlier so with transit as it is these days we are in early to mid Q3 for delivery to customers at the moment. Hope that helps!

    Not at all! They’ll be the first of the batch to land and I’d imagine the group would need customers to commit asap to pay the bills in turn before the models land.

    You won’t have any issue with the configuration and the system has been deployed identically in the 55,92 and Irish A class and a lot of. 37s to great success The entire platform is designed to an ESU specification and will not reduce the life of your ESU loksound or anything else. You can safely ignore any scaremongery or poorly informed social media and if you face any issue we’d be happy to provide you with support.
