Was this the same raid that took out the southern half of Albert Street ? The idea was to flatten the railway under the A1 and thus cut both lines of communication. Only one man was killed by this raid; he was in the outside toilet and refused to leave it. The irony in the incident is that the man had been evacuated from London to avoid the bombing ! Gauge is about 6 mm too narrow for me Edited to substitute narrow for wide 'cos I thought being in the 'O' gauge section it was 'O' gauge track....silly me !!!
