I bought my bus via eBay from a German supplier for €50 including delivery. See here for one currently on sale from a French source. Dave
  2. If no-one responds earlier, I'll be home later tomorrow and will scan mine and send them to you. Dave
  3. Sorry Chris I have just received my DCC'd Peckett from EDM and it is a splendid model. The maker's plates are great but the cab side plates are just wrong. This is what the cab side plates should look like: This is the Minerva version: I can get some from elsewhere but these really could have been better! Dave
  4. The cab side numberplate looks a bit suspect, Chris. This is a side-on crop of the original plate including the 'GWR' prefix which disappeared when it was renumbered to 1141.

But you do have internet access and can thus very easily find: I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. (assuming that you wanted to know!) Dave
  6. And already published on RMWeb (with other of Talyllyn Junction!) here
  7. Agree completely. I was intending that Warren's photos would indicate the relative positions of topfeed and tank filler. The pipework layout is, as you rightly point out, very different to its original appearance. The photos linked to by 57xx in post #49 show a more prototypical arrangement (even though it's a preserved loco)!
  8. Photos here will be of use to you. Click on them to get BIG pictures! Dave

That would be Richard Greene who was born in 1918 (d.1985) making Chaz about 97 if they went to school together! Dave

    Try this instead. Dave
  11. According to The Manchester Evening News, Chris is quite correct - it's Cardiff although Swansea has previously laid claim to the title. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/revealed-britains-wettest-cities---7953017
  12. Ahem... I can't but Slater's publish the figures here on their website (under Wheels!) Dave
  13. Actually, it's quite deliberately called The Acme Refining & Steel Establishment!
  14. This link might be helpful http://www.titfield.co.uk/one32mod/Modindex.htm Dave
  15. M.S.L. hobbies did one and the kit is now with JLTRT. To quote Pete Waterman today on WT, "Guys just to put you in picture this kit is a JLTRT kit we have just not re-released it. It is our intention to do this as one of our kits but that's some time off yet. It will be redone to fit the way we do things."Dave
  16. It's here: http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/really-useful-11-drawer-rainbow-storage-tower/572895-1000 Dave
  17. It's an armature chuck for holding motor shafts.
  18. Like this but unless you are a member it's thumbnail photos only. Dave

Chaz I have a pack of EN5602/25 and, as you have correctly speculated, the 25mm refers to the fitted height. The base 'peg' is 5mm long. Dave

Had you considered these? http://www.westbourne-model.co.uk/acatalog/Aero-Naut--Model-Boat-Fittings-Stanchions.html They are not cheap but do look the part! Scroll down for the 2- and 3-hole types. Dave
  21. Have you asked David Andrews? His kit for Tre Pol and Pen, which has now disappeared from his list, was D333 and came with a 3000 gal tender. It might be worth asking the question.Cheers Dave
