Think of it as a meat salad in a edible wrapper, now that's healthier

oh oh, looks like the Loksound is dead :-(

  10. I was fortunate enough to attend a Grammar school and being church aided we had two "saints days" a year - we all turned up to church in Nottingham in the morning, then once the service was over the rest of the day was our own. A friend and I used to run as fast as we could to Nottingham station to get a "bug" to Grantham in time to catch the 11:11 from Peterborough that was always a Deltic. Chocolate from the vending machines and a day's spotting on the platform copping as many Deltics as possible. Happy days.
  11. The baby Deltic is quite a bit longer than a class 20
  12. good progress, blimey! it only got wired up and half ballasted 'cos I did it as a demo at the Mansfield Show, nowt has happened since ..... Must get the ballasting finished so I can do the platforms for Stafford
  13. I that case I hunbly submit my entry totally "In your imagination" á la Museum of the Imagination from CBBC's award winning comedy show "Sorry I've got no Head" http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b011770c As you will see the level of detail is unsupassed for a T gauge model of Nottingham Station in the '30s
  14. Just coming back to this one, is there to be a presence at Stafford? if so, I am taking Fourgig East so it would be nice to connect it up, but it's handbuilt track. I do have a length of Peco BH flexi, so I assume if I make a suitable bridging unit that can dock to my board and then connect to another using fishplates that would be okay?
  15. Thanks to Steve (ramrig) of this parish for these nice shots taken at Derby last weekend Those of you coming to the Member's Day in July will be able to see it in the flesh so to speak
  16. John, let me know if you need any prototype info, I amassed quite a bit when I did my OO Crosti, no point in you doing all the research again
  17. visited UK3 at Donny station sidings this morning, turned up in time to see some sort of special leave the station, lots of Mk1s and a silver diseasel at the front where the kettle should be

  18. at least it gives everyone else a chance
  19. When I get time to pop over to Mickleover it's going to have a run round Duffield with a few coaches or maybe 16 tonners behind it
  20. They won't stay in service for ever maybe the DPS can spot hire a 55 to cover for a missing power car or two
  21. I read it that they are also planning to aquire a spare production HST power car and restore it to original condition. I guess if this is the case they could pair it with 41001 and a few Mk3s (half blue/grey the other half grey/blue?)
  22. oh ho ho ian, not sure what Andrea will make of that comment though
  23. Thanks to Diesel Dayz for allowing the 2-8-2 a guest appearance on Duke Street at this weekend's Derby Show raised a few eyebrows and even attracted the attention of Steve Flint B-)
  24. is frantically trying to get the 2-8-2 finished so I can do a show and tell at tomorrow's Derby Show
