  1. Lovely complex trackwork Rod, right up my street! Some of my own. Built maybe 20 years ago but never completed.........maybe....!
  2. Thanks all for the advice. The route to the website was by clicking on the 'Advanced' box and then to the website proper where I noticed that they take PayPal so that payment should be safe.
  3. So true. I too was glued to the TV all day. An emotional and proud moment for me was the moment that the National Anthem was sung in Westminster Abbey at full volume with the descant and brass. The most poignant moment was when the procession on The Long Walk passed Emma, The Queen's favourite and faithful fell pony that she would regularly ride when at Windsor. https://news.yahoo.com/queen-beloved-horse-emma-bids-204843859.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall
  4. Thanks both. All very strange as this is what I get in over here.
  5. Their coverage was really quite good as I remember. Also they use to show Sumo but that disappeared after a while. What did the programme devisers do to Jason and Osi to get them so over-excited?
  6. Does anybody know if the UK supplier of Polák scenics is still trading. In a search, the link is to a website designer. Their products seem to be available in the Czech Republic and Germany. Any ideas?
  7. Does anybody know the origins of this 4mm scale etch for a SR Banana van. The only 'identifier' marks on it are 'DH'. There is an archived thread on them https://www.rmweb.co.uk/topic/68040-banana-vans/

Ah, our friend from Cartmel...............competition for Mr Studebaker!
  9. Perhaps they could have used the Royal Train for after the funeral from Waterloo to Windsor. I remember watching Winston Churchill's funeral train at Rusham Crossing. A memorable sight.
  10. ....is so happy to welcome a second grandchild into the world.

  11. Looking into the Stygian gloom of Tiddenham tunnel
  12. Hearing the piper's very haunting lament at the St Pauls service did bring a tear to my eye.
  13. Thank you Ma'am for all you did. God save the King
  14. Excellent work on the armature For adding seafoam to armatures I use Cyano Gel, which has a jelly consistency, and set with Zip Kicker accelerator which makes the set almost instantaneous.
  15. ......you'll be left with the proverbial six square inches of clear work space....!😺😺
  16. It could have been but I don't know who it actually was I'm afraid.
  17. We had one of those hereabouts a few years ago.
  18. Wow Philip, that's excellent progress.
  19. I wholeheartedly agree with all that Rob says. Re-populating threads will be a lengthy task probably best suited for the winter months (if I can find the images/remember what they were....!).
